East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

Just like dancing. The prince's soothing voice filled her entire mind, a single drop that filled an entire basin.. perhaps even her entire being at that current moment. Especially as his lips found her own. This was different from any kiss she had ever known. It wasn't demanding but a gentle touch of cool soft lips that began to drift so swiftly to the warm soft skin that spread across her jaw. Just before they swept adeptly across her skin and despite how cool they felt against her skin, they heated her. Even as they settled upon her throat. Perfectly oblivious to the blood that sang for him. How close it was, taunting and beckoning and yet he didn't do anything else. Her name was uttered from those same lips that had kissed her before offering more. Those sweet words filled with promise and daring that the fae was already curious enough to accept. That voice a tickling breath that was nothing but a balm to chase away her usual rapid thoughts. Her mind was growing so lazy and unlike its usual chipper and alert self. No, her head felt like it was filled with rolling big puffy clouds that she would watch often take shape. Slowly churning and constantly changing. One moment seeing one thing, the next totally transforming into another. That was her. She was transforming and shifting like those clouds. How she would have liked to focus on it and yet how she could focus on anything except for that dark prince and his offer.

An offer for more, whatever that meant. That wonder punctured gently, no, more like needled the haze in her mind. More kissing? Was that what he had meant? She wouldn't mind that. Maybe kissing could be her new favourite thing. It was impossible to say no. Not when she was trapped in that welcoming cloying haze. How could she tell him no? Why would she want to? Her voice came out softly even though it didn't match the actual urge to comply. His mouth lowered to the true place he desired most from her. His lips brushing against her sensitive skin which provoked a giggle to dance off her tongue.

Yet she didn't quite expect with that sudden sharpness of his two fangs, reminding her that he was a vampire. Those extremely sharp fangs that snagged her flesh had cut through that gaze just a little. The act would have made her jump if she wasn't so blissfully heavy, her mind so sweetly lulled under the prince's spell.

"Oh!" She gasped suddenly in surprise, near choking on the cool air that she had forgotten about. But her metallic eyes shot open wide, her body tensed in response to that temporary searing sting. It was only a moment before that sharpness was dulled and replaced by a delicious heat. Like hot chocolate on a cold day, but instead of her mouth becoming happy with warmth and rich flavour, her whole entire body felt that way. Tension all but melted away, and her eyelids shimmering shut as that feeling rushed through her like a flood. Those clouds in her mind began to swirl and transform yet again. Like angry butterflies that began to spread to her entire body, trapped inside. Woah. This was well and truly a vampire's kiss. Warmth began to rush through her veins along with that fluttering sensation. Down it went like it had a purpose, a single destination. It traversed downward along her spine, along the front of her body. Down and down it went to one spot. Consuming her as his mouth was, sending her body into quite a state... until it found that spot right between her legs like it sought it out. It felt like a phantom caress she didn't quite know.

Her body trembled, as the goosebumps pebbled across her skin that had nothing to do with the cold. She was even painfully aware of her skin and how sensitive she became all over.

A sigh from parted lips eased from her.. her knees growing weak as if they could no longer keep her standing on her own. She hardly cared as she fell into the vampire's embrace and became completely at his mercy. Aware of his hands that grip and his mouth drawing her in.

Her body became so sensitive, entirely alive and aware with every pull of her blood she felt it directly elsewhere. Inevitably, the fae sagged almost entirely against him for support, lost to everything except him, her feet shifting against the dead mottled leaves beneath her feet. That first sign of pain was a distant thing, chased far away as it gave into that venom. Her lips parted, only to release a soft new sound of a moan had escaped her throat like a single trapped butterfly becoming freed. It was almost like she couldn't figure out that she made that noise.

There was nothing the fae could do but cling to him so desperately like she might be swept away, swallowed by the earth itself. Such a silly thought. It made her smile lazily before that heat that flooded swirled and coiled like a knot deep within her belly yet somehow deeper. She could hardly understand what was happening to her.

The innocent fae felt like she could have almost been afraid and yet that emotion seemed always danced out of reach like the pain caused from those fangs.

Oh no. Maybe she was dying. Maybe this was death. Maybe this was simply what vampire's did. Yet she didn't care.. if anything she tried to get closer, curling into him like he was the only thing stable in a world that blurred around her.

All kinds of thoughts sluggishly made their way in her mind. "Am I dying?" she questioned, more like a sigh, unstained with fear. She hadn't expected him to actually answer her musings. She didn't think death could feel so lovely. No, death was ugly. This was not ugly.

But then as if it couldn't intensify more, it did.. "Oh bouncing grasshoppers. What's happening to..?" Me the word never sounded, but it did in her mind because all she could do was hold on. How tightly her fingers dug into his coat that she thought her fingers would leave permanent marks. How funny that it was the same being that was causing that assault on her body was the only being that could fix this strange new ache.
