East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The demure vampire was slowly becoming accustomed to the thriving, vibrant city in which she had found herself. Change was something she genuinely abhorred but this time, the oriental girl found herself attempting to embrace the new - inspired partially by the inquisitive fellow she had met within the bar of her first week in the metropolis. He had been dashing at the least, mysterious and yet entirely amiable towards her company, despite her shy tendencies and every changing demeanor. It was this memory of a impromptu meeting that coaxed the youthful girl from the warm embrace of the Witchery and out into the world once again. Her large chocolate eyes took in every facet of the nightlife she found herself thrust into. Her steps were light, slow, and yet some how cautious as she weaved a path through the surprisingly busy sidewalks. This city, she found, never slept. She was not alone here. Her kind populated far more facets then she had anticipated. The young woman paused outside of a brightly lit cafe, the delectable morsels within the window tempting her further inside. If there was any one thing Chizue could say she truly missed about her mortality - it was food. She missed the delicious taste of chocolate melting on her tongue and the tantalizing taste of fresh bread in her mouth.

"Mmmm..." She muttered softly to no one but herself, and without any further hesitation, Chizue found herself wandering into the homely establishment. For a while she stood in front of the menu before ordering a quite pungent coffee that she probably couldn't drink. Never the less, with drink in hand she drifted further into the room, wandering past booths and chairs only to stop quite abruptly in her path. Her chocolate eyes fell upon a flash of bright red locks that curled in a neat fashion, her head shifting to the side in an inquisitive gesture. Briefly, she found herself recollecting upon the young woman with whom Damon had seemed so fascinated with. It had hardly taken much probing to discover a bit more about the girl. He held her in such high esteem, clearly holding some love for her though Chizue was hardly able to dig if that fondness was returned. It was certainly a topic that intrigued her, causing the girl to venture out of her comfort zone far more then she normally would have. Then again, the confident woman she had eaten at the bar in Damon's presence surely helped her in some degree.

Umm...excuse me? You don't happen to be Isolt, are you?" She inquired as she stepped up to the woman's table, her dark gaze falling upon her fellow vampire. Part of Chizue couldn't help but to be hopeful that it was indeed the case, even though she assured her self that the city was far too large to simply stumble upon the woman of Damon's daydreams. It seemed vastly too...easy. Either way, Chizue was willing to take the risk, after all, it wasn't as if she had much else to occupy herself within the cafe. The coffee in her hand was purely to taunt the senses she did still have, the smell of it was luxurious on it's own but without it to sip, it left the girl rather wanting of company - another off set of the personality she had absorbed.
