The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy
Samantha would have liked to ignore the tension that had settled upon the two siblings in front of her. But as it was, she couldn't help but pick up the feelings of the two. She envied the duo and the way that they seemed to effortlessly communicate. She was unsure of what it was, merely that they were siblings or some power between the two weres. It was frustrating to not be able to figure out what the feline at her side wanted from her, or even how to begin to communicate. It was clear that what the feline wanted from her was to meet his sister, though for the life of her she couldn't quite figure out what it was.
She was sure it had something to do with the fae girls that seemed to be everywhere in the place. The excitement seemed to pour off the dancers and the crowd. Samantha could see why this place would be appealing, the emotions that swirled around her were intoxicating enough that she had to strain to focus on the two people around her. Lustful emotions were her favorite thing to read. They always felt like what she imagined it would be to get drunk - not that she had done that, considering that looking eighteen meant that no one would serve alcohol to her. Lustful emotions made her head slow down and her thoughts fuzzy. They made her happy and giddy and it made her want to drink it all in. And if it weren't for the sound of Nadya's voice and the feel of the fabric in her hands, Samantha would have likely lost herself to the feelings.
The dress in her hands definitely seemed to wake up the young faerie, who clearly struggled to form words in her shock. "I know what I am," was all Samantha could offer in retort. That much was true, at least. Faerie politics or anything important about her kind was still a mystery to her. But at least she knew what she was. The young girl looked down at the outfit and shook her head both at the hilarity of the situation and the thought that she could actually pull something like that off. "I think you've got the wrong girl. I don't know why..." She paused again at the lack of name she had to call the feline at her side. "Why your brother brought me here, but I can assure you that asking me to do that is a horrible idea." Besides, she couldn't help but think to herself, the last thing she wanted to do was put herself in a vulnerable position around a bunch of fae women. Though, the idea of a paycheck did find itself appealing to her.
