The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Amaya chuckled and made a half-hearted grab for her hat. When Ollie put it on her head and fluffed her wig she smirked, gaze glittering as it swept over the fairy. "I don't think it be the hair givin' you away matey." She mimicked the pirate accent as she pulled the bar stool up next to her and reclaimed her drink. "I think it's the tu-tu." The lip flicked against her teeth and she gave the skirt a very significant glance. Bringing her eyes back up she smirked around the straw of the Mojito. "Or maybe the wings. You look like a pesky pixi, out to steal peoples' things.... Shamelessly." She added. Ollie's question had her choking slightly on the last sips of her drink. "The best? It depends on what you want it to be the best at. Best tasting? Pineapple upside down cake, shot or the drink, with a straw." Brown eyes looked around and she bit at her ring, thinking about what kind of bar they were in. "But I think this place would serve a pretty badass Irish Car Bomb. Drink that properly and we won't be able to dance like that for the rest of the night." She finished off the cocktail and handed it back to the bartender with a smile. Playfully, she glowered at the woman and snatched her hat back, placing it resolutely back on her head and flicking the long feather. "So you're new around here, too? Way to dash my hopes of you showing me around." |
