East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

He is, despite himself, pleased to be with her once more, that pack bond readily soothed into contentment to be in her company, satisfied to have the young woman where he can see her as he is assured it should be, oblivious to the look she offers in regards to his own rather ridiculous outfit, the leather uncomfortable against his skin, stiff in places, biting at his flesh and yet for a few moments he is merely happy to be outside in the sun. He fusses continually over his clothes every time the vampire woman sees fit to dress him, irritated and agitated by them in equal measure, distracted from his own discomfort in these moments by Nadya's clearly growing displeasure. The grin he wears is readily replaced by look of wary discord, dark eyes narrowed upon the girl, readily attempting to perceive her intentions in this, unable to understand the emotion he is presented with, unable to react to her as perhaps a normal man may do, after all, he can't react only to what he knows and a woman has never before stood upon a pool lounge to shout at him. Her tone alone grates against him, the dominance and assurance in her voice grinding against his own assertive, headstrong nature, growl caught within his throat as his arms remain folded across his chest. Her sudden height increase brings her gaze into line with his own, her new found position yet another domineering action that seems to cause the boy to bristle. Perhaps she is of Alpha blood, yet Tobias will only recognise one Alpha and it is not and never will be a girl. Perhaps, while his own bloodline remained much of a mystery, the pack unable to trace the outcast child's lineage beyond the knowledge of a very young Mother, a girl incapable of caring for her child, leaving him upon the edges of a pack that could- he had been adopted of sorts, into Nadya's own family. Perhaps he was not born with the blood of Alphas- but he had been raised by them and as such his own dominant nature is assured and equally as hot.

Her sudden closeness is an appealing thing, that scent he so enjoys seeming to linger around her, the young man content to stand his ground, that bond that connects them so readily to each other seeming to relish her nearness after a near week apart from her and yet within the same motion he refuses to shift back, refuses to yield to her in any fashion. They have fought before with teeth and claw and if need be the young man is entirely content to do just that. Female or otherwise, the laws of the Were remain the same. Leadership is a dominance game to which gender fails to apply, the boy as content to pin her beneath him as he would be any challenging male. A frown touches his features as she yells, disliking her tone intensely, his own words clipped, short and cold.

"She would not...let us out....we could...not come. Aiden says we....cannot let her know...where you live. We have to....keep you safe....so maybe you....should not play with....the other boys."

His final words are little more then a mutter yet one just loud enough for her to hear in a childishly annoying fashion as his shoulders roll in a typical male shrug, attempting some form of callous indifference to the entire matter, merely repeating Tetradore's words to her in a dismissive manner as if she barely deserves to hear them, his volatile nature seeking to test her entirely it would seem, to push right back as hard as she presses against him- though perhaps he has finally gone too far, her next words just as loud, just as angry though he cannot fully fathom the reasons behind her agitation, unable to understand her struggle to separate herself from him and Tetradore, the girl desperately struggling to pull away- if only to save herself the heartache she seems assured is coming. He cannot understand these things, perhaps he never will, the world black and white to him. Nadya is pack, she will always be pack and to him- this will simply never change. Her final words however, seem to finally earn the woman an expression, his blank, cold features shifted into a look of...shock perhaps, the boy seemingly capable of feeling some ounce of shame as his eyes widen, a retort already on his lips, ready to be snapped back towards her own sharp words before he is suddenly and decidedly struck, the flat of her hand slapping firmly into the side of his face, rendering him to utter silence as he simply....stares, eyes wide once more, one hand lifted to brush reflexively against the sting that burns against his check, seeming utterly unable to understand what has just occurred, stepping slightly back from the woman for the first time. He will respect only those whom demand it from him, only those whom can force such a thing and perhaps, in that moment, Nadya had earned the barest slither of his respect.

"You...hit me."

The words are hardly more than a murmur, the boy seemingly utterly lost as to what and how this has occurred as Nadya's own features glow with a ready flood emotion he does not perceive or understand, mind struggling terribly to comprehend this new situation- before her final words seem to take hold, those dark eyes slicing back towards her with an entirely new agitation, his own domineering nature flaring up entirely now, the girl only adding fuel to the fire as his hands clench into fists at his side, feral sounding snarl erupting from his lips, Nadya it would seem....finally having pressed the volatile boy to far.

"STOP TALKING!"

He moves to step forward so suddenly, stepping up and onto the chair to stand before her, towering over her once more, forcing her to be beneath him with such a gesture, the action highly dominant as he does.

"I am not....a kitty-pet....I am not!"

He is shouting now, voice just as loud as her own, very near standing on top of the woman unless she has moved to step back, the chair itself threatening to break beneath both their weights as it groans, dark hair falling, as always, back into his face to mingle with the darkness of his gaze, eyes seeming near black in these moments. Not his pack anymore?

"Yes we....are...you cannot....leave."

Long fingers move to suddenly encircle her left wrist, his grip firm and assured, refusing to allow her to turn away from him, keeping her just where he wants her, that cunningly dangerous gleam to his gaze simmering just beneath that obvious anger.

"Because I...say you...can't. I am Second...not you. You belong to...us!"

His words are a direct contradiction to her earlier statement, goading her still, daring her to push him any further then she has, momentarily surprised by the warmth of her skin though indeed his instincts remain tangled, unsure, pushing him in a direction he does not understand, frustration edged within his mind, desiring to....be closer and yet seeking to shove her away all the same, emotions so utterly tangled he has no true hope of discovering them, so unsure of what he wants from her as his eyes rest against her own before he steps forward again and again- deliberately trying to push her back now, into the back of the chair they stand on, very near demanding she submit with this gesture, that she let him push her back, that she yield. She can either except she is beneath him with words- or he will put her beneath him. He has been separated from his pack for so very long, is terrified of losing them and as such refuses utterly to allow Nadya to go. He likes her, likes her company, likes her scent.......he needs her to stay-

-and to accept HE is in charge.
