The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The Sacrosanct Dark Hunter's Department follows the directions of the International Dark Hunter Council and serves as a local point of contact for any Dark Hunters working within the Council's ranks.

What am I doing? Seriously?!
This wasn't like him, even under the influence. But he was torn. Part of him was liking this, enjoying it, while his comfort zone and routine were screaming at him to stop. It was very much like an Angel and Devil on his shoulders - Darien kind of wanted to listen to the Devil tonight. No one knows me here. I can be anyone and do anything. Maybe that was what had kept him from being himself in the first place. Small town, everybody talks. And already being different in every sense of the word, Darien was realizing he suppressed many feelings. And here he was just another face in the crowd. Just another man at a bar.
Sebastian was either a good manipulator, or Darien was finally letting out a side of his personality he never knew he had. Maybe it was both? And it felt ... good. It felt sinful, but good. And scary - Lord he was scared. To disappoint or just what was going to happen next. He had a feeling he knew where this was leading and it frightened him, but in a way that felt liberating.
Even without looking at Seb directly, he could feel the man studying every inch of him. In any other situation, this would have made him wanna disappear. Hell, Darien probably would have gotten up and left. Spotlight wasn't his thing. There was one word though that sends shock waves through Darien. More Fae? He almost has a heart attack, and he's left speechless. Though his head turns slightly in acknowledgment of the question, like hearing a gun cock and not wanting to look back but recognizing it. He kept his gaze forward, not really on Debbie anymore. It was a blank, absent stare of living inside his head. He's not human. He can't be a Fae, either. What is he? Still reeling from his flirting, Darien just now seeing how close they were and the soft chuckle that left Seb. He very quickly finishes off his beer and places it next to their empty glasses, just before he feels that familiar cold hand skim his chin, delicately. Like being lead by some invisible chain, he slowly turns his head to face Sebastian and in this moment, time seems to slow. The world melts away, and Darien locks his gaze. The longing but fear written all over them. He even forgets to breathe.
Being this close, his heart beats faster than it ever has in his entire life. He feels like he might float away. This is wrong. This isn't right .. is it? Do I want him to kiss me? I've never done this before. Do I? The Devil on his shoulder answers for him. Darien's eyes dart from Seb's own and to his lips several times in the span of a second, before he closes the small gap between them and shuts his eyes just as he feels their lips touch. His head tilts just enough for them to become one. Darien's lips overlap his, his upper resting on Sebastian's bottom. It lasts but a couple seconds, before he sits up a little from his seat (his feet touching the floor) and pulls back, only to initiate a second kiss, a little more aggressive than the first. He nips Seb's bottom lip.
His right hand comes up to gently, barely if, to rest along Sebastian's jawline and neck, as if ready to pull him back if he pulled away. Darien (with eyes now open) stops, and still so close he can see his pupils. His voice is low, soft, fueled by passion and shaky from the terror. "Is that a good enough answer?"
He removes his hand, his face red and a smile now on his lips. He starts to chuckle. "I don't normally do this! I don't know what I am doing! This is crazy..." His chuckle stops and he becomes serious, looking at Sebastian's lips ever so often. With a strong whisper, he has to ask. "What are you?"
