The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Anna-Marie Belrose
Anna's small fingers had all but demolished the beautifully arranged bouquet of flowers. Systematically had she plucked each colorful petal and tossed it onto the walkway at her feet. Its bright colors and fragrant scent only mocked her irritable mood so it had to be destroyed. The fact that she had spattered blood on her from feeding didn't bother the child, nor did she care about the looks of any straggling passerbys. In a city full of supernaturals, the humans were beginning to learn to give any out of the ordinary appearing individuals a wide berth. Although Anna didn't normally kill when well fed, there was little promise of such saving grace for if she was angered.
The approach of a person hardly went noticed, too entranced with her task at hand. It wasn't until those feminine lilting lyrics met her ears did Anna's interest stray from the flowers. Anna offered no resistance at the smoothing of her blonde hair tucked behind her ear before the strange woman gripped her chin to force her attention upwards. One inhale was enough to tell Anna that this woman was a vampire as well. "Sebastian is hiding from me. I don't think he likes to play." Anna offered her explanation easily as her icy blue eyes surveyed the woman. The fingers which had rested on the de-flowered sticks twitched slightly, seeking out the stranger's essence. It would only take a twist of the wrist to shove her away but for now Anna kept her ability in check. After all, this woman was certainly much prettier and well-dressed compared to the other vampires she had run across in the city. Those young blooded, freshly turned mongrels always made Anna wish to rip their heads from their bodies if only to ensure they didn't breed. Surely this one was worth more time. Blood tinted lips twisted into a playful smirk around small fangs, "My name's Anna. Do you want to play?" Perhaps, if Sebastian would not play, then she could coerce this one to instead.
Anna let the bouquet fall from her grasp and folded her hands diligently onto her lap. "Do you know any games? Sebastian doesn't know any and I have to choose them all. ...I know all the good games." She slid from the bench and brushed a few lingering crushed petals from the front of her dress before standing before the woman expectantly. "Can we play games in there?" Her gaze shifted away from Chrishlyn to the towering hotel that jutted into the sky behind the bench. The night was normally about running free and not with four walls surrounding and confining you like during the day. However, Anna had never before been within that hotel and her curiosity was certainly piqued. Surely there must be a new game or plaything to be had within the brightly lit up and rather lavish appearing building. "Just one game...I promise to be good." That playful smile returned to her features as she looked back at Chrishlyn. Sebastian only agreed to play with her if she agreed to behave to which made the young vampire grumpy to say the least but was willing to say the words if it would get the woman to play with her. Though from the tone in the child's voice and the way her blue eyes glittered mischievously, it wouldn't be hard for the trained of eye to tell that Anna wasn't planning on keeping to the promise.
