East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Whatever efforts the Englishman attempted to make to console his rather bewitching companion seemed to fall entirely flat, much to the vampire's discomfort. Sebastian's crystalline blue gaze remained entirely steadfast upon the fairy as he pulled away to once again brush his hand across his face in some effort to rid himself of fallen tears. It was particularly peculiar that Sebastian might somehow provoke such a reaction within the man - though why even he couldn't possibly fathom. His eyebrows wrinkled with a hint of concern as he observed the fashion at which his companion seemed to clutch at the bottle of alcohol as if it was somehow his life line. It was true that Sebastian himself regularly consumed the mild altering substance but it was hardly for relief of any kind. Instead it was merely a consequence of the places he haunted and the people that too dwelled within those same spaces. Their blood laden alcohol certainly had an effect on Sebastian and so, more often the not, he tended to avoid those that too harsh sucked on the rim of their bottle. It was like being drunk first thing in the morning for the vampire. The exception, however, as it so often was, was Darien.

There was something about the man that was utterly distracting for Sebastian. Perhaps it was the nature at which he simply wore his heart upon his sleeve that so made the vampire want to make everything somehow just a little better - though how he hadn't the faintest idea. After all, this hardly fell within the man's realm of expertise. He was great at releasing sexual tensions or distracting from thoughts of loneliness but this? This was...something else. It felt almost wrong to beset the man with his affinity, even if it had made him more confident then he clearly was now. He hardly had missed the way Darien seemed to avoid his gaze, the man instead turning to face his shoes as he pointed to the scrape on his cheek. Sebastian nodded ever so slightly, "Yes." He commented softly, though he was hardly prepared for the inquiry that followed soon after. Gingerly he reached out, letting his knuckles brush against the man's cheek. "It won't hurt you, I promise." Sebastian offered before adding in a voice that was scarcely above a whisper. "I won't let anything hurt you."

The vampire's hand pulled away the moment the man abruptly stood up from the bench, the vampire's pale blue gaze hardly hesitating in meeting the suddenly energetic eyes of his companion. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly at the sudden change in the fairy though he chose not to comment on it, instead rising with the man before nodding once again. "It would certainly be appreciated." Sebastian responded, a small simper crossing his features. After all, it didn't need to be said that those within his own species looked down upon the sharing of blood with those lesser then them. Vampires were blood takers - not givers. To provide such a gift, and within the public eye, would surely have been a disgrace to any whom happened upon the rather intimate moment. Sebastian was, however, acutely aware of the sudden silence that had descended upon his companion and yet the vampire hardly questioned after what took a hold upon the fairy's mind, instead patiently waiting for those thoughts to manifest into syllables and, thankfully, he was not disappointed.

On the contrary, a warm simper crossed Sebastian's features at the mention of the motel room that Darien occupied. He made every effort to put the fairy at ease, offering the man a rather teasing response, "Perhaps this time we can do so without attracting unwanted attention." It was a reference to their first meeting, as much as Sebastian hated the lack of control he had displayed within the fairy's presence. Hopefully, the man could forget those bits and instead remember only the taste of Sebatian's lips against his. The Englishman brushed off the fae's concerns, instead shaking his head ever so slightly at Darien's insistence that somehow, he was might actually be messing up what was occurring here between them - though really, could Sebastian even say he knew what this was? The offered bottle, however, was turned down with a small wave of the vampire's hand. "No, your blood -" He stopped himself abruptly. Yes, Darien's blood was already likely saturated enough as it was though he supposed that hardly needed saying. After all, was that really his intent here? To drink from the fairy? No - it wasn't. Tonight he was already well fed and so, instead, for once, Sebastian had nearly no end goal intended. "You're going to need it. Save some." He continued, offering another weak attempt at a simper before gesturing in that 'after you' sort of motion.
