She was never one to back down from a fight so there was no hesitation on her part when it came to jumping on the demon's back and giving it fight worth having. She'd never seen a demon before and really had no idea what it could do or how to kill it but everything could be slashed to pieces right? She didn't care about its motivation or wonder why it was here. She only knew that it was something worth fighting and why not? She had time to kill. The stupid human was only going to get in her way in her opinion but hey, if he wanted to try and stab the thing so go right ahead. He started asking her if she had a concussion and she snorted, even while grappling to stay on the demon's back. "Psh, I didn't hit my head. I'm fine. You just worry about the monster. Maybe you should ask if he's hurt next." She practically purred with sarcasm, her eyes rolling in their sockets. She continued to ride the beast while it slashed and lunged at the man but he danced like it was choriographed, making the movements look natural as the blade appeared in his hands. Malia thought to question things suddenly appearing in his hands like that but her words were cut off by a frustrated grunt as the beast once more tried to throw her off his back. It wasn't successful but she was tearing up so much flesh that it was making it harder to hold on because the skin was just ripping beneath her claws now. He told her to make the monster rear up and she did just that, slashing at its head and neck to aggravate it to the point that it did and she raised a brow in question when yet another object appeared in the man's hand as he told her to run like hell on his word. She tilted her head. "What word? You have a word?" This confused her. What was his word and how would she know when she heard it? Suddenly the beast threw itself up and she felt the man move in for his attack. She couldn't make out what was happening but the next thing she knew, the man was yelling at her NOW and somehow the tone behind it was enough to tell her this was the word he must have been talking about. She used what hold she had left to coil her legs and spring off the monster's back, easily pushing herself away from it to land in a crouch a few feet away. She was quick to leap to her feet and take off though, speed never being something she was weak in. She glanced back to make sure the man was keeping up as well but kept her gaze just as trained on the beast in case it chose to give chase. She yelled at the man. "Now what?" Surely he had a better plan than attack the thing then jump off and run. |
