Here he was, simply minding his business, and seeking to enjoy the day. The crisp, Autumn day. "Oof!" He shouted out, feeling the massive force of the leopard, that he didn't even see coming towards him slam into him with great force. All Gideon could really feel at this present was some soreness all over his body, and the impact of the ground not really making his fall any softer. But in the time he took to dust himself off, he caught sight of the Leopard, his glasses looped between the creature's teeth, happy as a lark on the roof.
"Bah... Wouldn't you know it?" Gideon said this in his naitive tongue of Greek as he rose to his feet. Somehow his hair hadn't been messed up at all in this mess.
But for some reason, he was very lax about this situation. Perhaps it was because this giant cat wasn't just any normal big cat. No, something was different. As far as Gideon knew, Sacrosanct didn't exactly have a zoo... Or last he knew?
Regardless, the Fae watched the, he assumed, were-cat happily flaunt the catch that was his glasses. What was this display? It was like watching a house cat flaunt his kill, or coming back with the toy that was thrown across a room for it to catch and kill.
"Curious thing you are." Gideon spoke upward to the leopard, like he could hear him. Perhaps he could though, for cats had excellent hearing and it was far superior to that of any human or humanoid brand.
"Yet I feel as though you too don't frequent up here do you?" Gideon couldn't help but crack a smile, watching this cat simply stare at him with big golden eyes, and a tail swishing about. Though it was practically odd that Gideon wasn't clamoring for his glasses back. Wouldn't a normal person who needed their glasses, be screaming and hollering for them back?
Maybe. Not Gideon though. He didn't carry a spare for instances like this, in which they'd be broken.
Be that as it may, the Greek did have a little snack in his pocket; And what was this snack exactly? Perfectly made, from a recipe dating years and years back, and cut slab of cooked lamb. It was wrapped in plastic wrap, as he undid the wrapping and tore a small piece off with bone attached. Those dark eyes of Gideon's seemed to glow as he lifted up the offering of peace to the leopard.
"What say, I give you this in exchange for my glasses back? I promise it's delicious."
Gideon didn't really care too much for the people on the busy street. Boy he could hear Serafina giving him all kinds of flack for this one.
"You lost your glasses, to a Were-Leopard?!" Yep, he thought of that being said in her voice. Her laugh filled the void of his head as well. Well, now he couldn't let himself live this down for that simple fact.
But here he was, dangling a treat to a cat that could maul him to death by choice, in front of numerous eyes and not even caring. His black lochs seemed to flutter a bit as a breeze kicked up only just.
"Never in my days did I think I'd see a were. They used to be only in stories... Now I'm living in those stories. I keep forgetting that..." Silly Gideon, as he thought to himself, waiting for the leopard to make his move.
