The blonde girl that walks in after me looks strangely familiar. I furrow my brows as I watch her. She stops to talk to the witch at the door, playing with something around her neck as she speaks. She seems to be thanking her for something. Afterwards, she heads toward the bar where I'm sitting. I shift a little on my stool, wondering again where I know her from. She motions toward the green eyed man, giving him a smile as she says she'll take what he's drinking, before turning around to eye the floor while she sipped her drink. She looks confident enough so I clear my throat and lean toward her, my voice soft. I don't even know if she'll hear me.

"Um, hi. I don't know if you remember me...you just look so familiar to me."

I offer her a shy smile, my hands in my lap as I keep my legs crossed, my body as slim and small as I can make it, a habit of course. Even as I wait for her response, I keep my attention circulating. There's a vampire who reeks of power in the room now. He looks young like a teenager but something tells me he's anything but. Just about everyone is heading out on the dance floor. I shift my weight in discomfort, looking down. I guess I should get to know more people so I don't feet so out of place at things like this. I glance back up at Raven but she hasn't noticed me yet. Most of her attention seems to be focused on Tobi. I bite my lip, trying to hold back the jealousy, and maybe a little envy. I wish I had someone to look at me like that. Of course, I bet that's pretty unlikely when I can't even be close to a person without flinching, especially a guy. Davante seems to be the only exception to that rule so far.

I scan the room, finding him as he crosses the room to the pretty woman with black hair. She seems to be giving him a look, one of those looks a confident woman gives a potential suitor. I look away again, my cheeks blushing a little. Romance seems to be in the air an awful lot tonight. At least the bar seems to be vacating. Two couples have already wandered off to dance but more keep pouring in. A pretty blonde wanders over to the corner where a man is selling masks to those who came without. She picks hers out and lingers and I wonder if she knows anyone here. I offer her a shy simper in case she looks my way before I turn back to the bar with a sigh. The bartender wanders over with a concnered expression and asks if she can get me anything. I duck my head and shake it hastily.

"No, I'm fine, thank you."

She seems a little put off but she wanders away to the other waiting customers anyway. I bite my lip and start tracing my finger on the bar top, wondering if I'll ever know what it's like to be normal.
