Malek Ackerman
You're my water. You're my wine.
The vampire sits at the bar delighted in his finding of the best whiskey in the city. Mal was almost like a child, happily drinking away lost in his own world until a gentle hand curls on his arm. Glancing down at the slender fingers curled around the crease in his elbow, he lets his steely eyes travel up the woman sitting next to him, his gaze momentarily caught on her pointed ears before meeting her eyes.
"My god, you are beautiful. Your name should be Aphrodite," he beams at her, completely turning in his seat to inspect her more. "I'm Malek," he responds diligently, a toothy grin spreading across his features. He can't help notice the simple attire she's clothed herself in as if she were trying to act inconspicuous in bar, though her fiery hair would draw anyone's attention. "Bartender!" he bellows down the bar again to retrieve the man who comes scuttling back rather frazzled looking. "I'd like to buy this goddess a drink!" he exclaims as if he pronouncing his dying wish.
"Sir, I've just given her another one," he replies, eyes widening at Malek's much too loud voice. "Your point?" he drawls an almost dangerous tone coating his words. That was all it took before the man had deposited yet another fresh drink before fiery red head.
Satisfied with, in fact, buying the faerie another drink, he smirks smugly to himself.
Pouring himself another drink, he sidles closer to the woman named Sam, offering her another of his genuine smiles before pushing his long hair out of his face. "What brings someone so beautiful such as yourself out on this rather lonesome night?" he questions taking a swig of his whiskey before placing his glass much more gently this time on the bar.
Letting it suddenly dawn on him that he was, in fact, a womanizer and a drunk it was as if a lightbulb went off above his head. It was such an a-ha moment that even the emotion danced across his features before putting it into play.
His power.
His god-awful power that he couldn't turn off. So instead, he turns it up slightly.
Much like you would turn up the volume on the radio. Increasing the pheromones about the woman, he was certain those were slightly drunken eyes he could see in his new friend's eye sockets. Perhaps she wouldn't find it all that strange given that she was already leaning into him. Grinning again, the vampire already knew he had a ruggedly handsome look, though his personality didn't so much fit his appearance. He was, however, a vampire and vampires tended to have rather drawing looks in order to bait their prey.
You're my whiskey. From time to time.
