North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Amelia hadn't been in Sacrosanct long, a few months at best. She had never cared much for the politics of the city or the people that ran it, so she never bothered with learning who the politicians were. Right now, the man next to her was nothing more than another vampire here at this local hub to enjoy a drink or two. She didn't know his name and certainly didn't recognize him or why he had the need for the body guards out front.

Eyes traveled up to the stranger as he asked why she preferred a white wine over a red. She offered him a kind smile. "It depends on my mood, really. Sometimes I want the heavy, sultry flavor of a red but like tonight, I just want something sweet and light." Amelia like to consider herself a connoisseur of wine. She enjoyed all the different kinds of flavors, having learned early which wines went well for different foods and activities. While she had her favorites, there really wasn't any that she didn't like.

She took her glass from the bar tender, bringing it to her lips and sniffing it lightly. It smelt heavenly. Slowly, she took a sip before placing the glass down on the napkin the bar tender laid out in front of her. Eyes looked back to the stranger, studying him carefully. Realizing that she had truly never met the man, she offered her hand out to him. "Amelia. It's nice to meet you...." Her voice trailed off in the hopes that he would fill in the blank and offer up his own name to her. At least then they could claim that they knew each other.

ooc: OMG. Absolute crap. Sorry D:
