Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

A small frown crossed the lips of the Englishman, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly at the prospect of his companion failing to find such comfort within the sleep his body so desperately needed. He had, of course, considered whether or not it had any such relation to his own abrupt departure and yet, a part of him knew well it was entirely egotistical to think his lack of presence might somehow affect his lover so profoundly when surely there was far more within his life to keep him distracted from Sebastian's own temporary disappearance. It was true that Sebastian had become used to seeing his companion at least once a week but it seemed entirely silly that it had become so habitual that both men might somehow have had their schedules thrown so awry in just the past two weeks alone. A hint of concern crossed remained upon his features though his lover did his best to brush it off as if it was but a passing phase. Despite the worry that was so atypical of the Englishman, he offered but a small nod in return, trusting his lover in this though he intended to ensure his own servants kept a close eye on Dorian during the short time the man would occupy his own halls.

Regardless such thoughts of concern had fluttered to the back of his mind the moment they were settled within the dark, intimate confines of Sebastian's vehicle once again. The mention of that very substance that Sebastian so diligently relied upon brought but memories of their decidedly displeasing plane trip back and all that it so consisted of - including the rather unsatisfactory taste of either slightly chilled coagulated blood or the crimson substance reheated in but a microwave. Neither option fell particularly within his realm of preference in comparison to the fresh, hot blood that flowed through the veins of the utterly delectable fae King beside him. His own nose wrinkled ever so slightly at the mention of what he had earlier consumed, the vampire nearly amused by the way that Dorian too seemed to grimace at the simple suggestion of such a reheated meal. What he hadn't anticipated, however, was the offer that Dorian was so willing to provide him with - his own royal life force. The vampire could hardly deny the appeal of it. The simple suggestion alone seemed to bring that hunger flaring to life, even though he had done well so far to ignore it's presence entirely.

Although such surprise clearly danced upon the vampire's features, it was but fleeting, replaced easily with a warm simper at the reason behind such an offer within the first place. In truth, so few had ever seen any reason to care for the vampire's well being, much less the man's comfort. Many would have laughed at the notion of his kind being uncomfortable and yet, here Dorian was affording him that which so few even truly considered. "Thank you, Dorian." He muttered softly, his own blue irises softening ever so slightly with a note of affection. He could, after all, not deny the way that something this simple so managed to touch his soul. After all, Sebastian, in some ways, despised what he was and what he had become. Dorian was perhaps the first to so truly embrace all of him and yet, still view him entirely as a man with feelings and wants and desires. It was that warmth within his soul that saw Sebastian offer such a mischievous grin, the man fully admitting his wants for Dorian's flesh and so, in turn, the man momentarily was lost within the fae King's kiss.

It wasn't until that soft admittance that so saw Sebastian pause in an entirely notable fashion - the man was entirely caught off guard by the implications that he was the only interest within Dorian's life. It would have been easy, admittedly, to simply ignore such a sentence and yet, his own feelings had so blossomed with such a fervor that Sebastian hardly wanted to waste this opportunity - what if there was never any other such option again to so tastefully admit his own lingering affections for the man so closely at his side. In those precarious moments, silence nearly entirely invaded the vehicle as Sebastian's gaze turned towards the leather seating, his own thoughts so carefully dedicated to finding the words that might best provide the King with his own carefully crafted offer of vulnerability. He was unaware of the efforts Dorian made to simply circumvent those words, his own figure filled with enough anxiety that his lack of attentiveness to those that filled Dorian was also unobserved. It was only once those meticulously contrived words fell from his lips that Sebastian's gaze glanced upwards tentatively towards his lover, entirely unsure of whether or not Dorian truly held any interest in furthering their relationship.

He stared at that shocked, silent face of his companion, watching in silence as the man struggled to make sense of his own offered words. Sebastian was all too aware of those softly muttered lyrics as Dorian repeated the very words in which Sebastian himself had moments ago stated. Sebastian's head bobbed ever so slightly in conformation, his own lips parting to whisper, "Yes." It was, perhaps the man's noted understanding of how entirely improbable it was that the fae King himself could be the entire source of his food that so brought a soft sigh of relief to the man's form. It was funny that such a simple comprehension so brought him such relief that his whole body seemed slightly more relaxed. "Thank you...I..I would not want to hurt you." The words were perhaps as gentle as Dorian's own and yet, there was the simple depth of Sebastian's affection nestled within those lyrics of his. He treasured the fae King so greatly that the thought of losing him was altogether painful, even despite the delectable taste of blood coursing through his veins that eternally seemed to sing to the vampire.

It was the touch of Dorian's fingertips upon his cheek that once again drew his attention towards the King, providing him with every breathless moment as he awaited some sort of resolution to the proposition he had offered. He watched with poised efforts to remain entirely blase as Dorian picked his own words, the vampire almost not expecting what he was given in reply. His? Dorian was willing to be his alone? To no longer have to fret over sharing his lover - to no longer dwell with dissatisfaction at the notion of those who kept Dorian's bed when he was not with the fae. No, Dorian was his and that possessive part of him all too willingly embraced that. "I should like that." He uttered softly in reply before Dorian's lips so seemed to crash upon him, absorbing all of him as his own mouth brushed with a renewed fashion against the King's beside him. His own seatbelt was entirely removed as he pressed his lips further against the King's his body pushing against Dorian's own to press him lightly against the leather seats. His own fingertips ran up the length of Dorian's neck, tilting his head slightly in the opposite direction before his lips broke away from his lover's, his fangs wasting no time to plunge into Dorian's neck. He had become so attuned to the King's body that knowing the location of those veins had become second nature. And yet, though he cherished that warmth that so invaded his own mouth, he could only help but to hope too that the man he loved had found some satisfaction in the pleasure his own bite was able to provide.
