Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
It was impressive, really, that the woman was screaming obscenities into Vhal's face. She had to admit that most humans and super naturals would be pissing themselves already. A wild glee slowly began to dance in her ice blue eyes as she positioned the dagger at the woman's ribs and couldn't help but let an amused laugh escape through those plump lips. Grinning wildly at the were-creature she increased the pressure of the knife into her side and let the trespasser squirm a bit more until she put more of her weight onto her arm that lay across Edie's chest.
A warning that she could just as easily cut off her airways as she could plunge the steak knife deep into her flesh. Maybe the assassin would give her the choice of how she died, by a kitchen item or by the life being choked out of her. Again that wild glee played across her face, "Ah, so you have an arsenal of vocabulary at your disposable, how cute," the witch winks at her. "I wouldn't play the 'brave' woman right now if I were you," Vhal suggests dangerously, but of course, Edie seemed to have other plans.
If the woman would not comply with her wishes, then she would make her sing a song of pain. Shrugging at the were-creature she slides the blade a half inch into the woman, the skin giving slowly until the tang of blood filled the air and began to pour down the stranger's clothes. The shirt would never be worn again by the small hole and how it began to mop up the blood. Instead of removing the knife, she lets it rest there, inside her side as Vhal adjusts her grip to turn it, instead of pulling it out. But she waits, wanting to see the woman squirm and beg.
They would see how high of a pain tolerance this super natural had, even if it took them all day.
"Feel like talking yet?" she purrs dangerously at her, a smile stretching across her face.
