Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Nadya Tetradore

It was true that Nadya worried about her brother's reaction if she left the pack to join Frost. However, her main thought had been on keeping any more attacks from the Chimera pack away from the Nightshade. She hadn't thought about her brother retaliating against Frost. Nadya supposed it was an option when Edie brought it up but at the same time, her brother was a quiet reserved one. He was strong but he was quiet. Nadya couldn't imagine Aidan lashing out at Frost, only lashing out at her in the sense of shunning her once more and keeping in his steel castle. Nadya had experienced that pain of being shunned by her brother once before and it had torn her apart. Was she prepared to feel that again? Aidan had been trying to make things work for her and the twins with the tensions that the pack held. She didn't want her brother to feel like she was choosing Frost because he hadn't done enough. Matters of the heart were complicated. With a sigh Nadya's thoughts returned to the present and her gaze slid back over to the other Beta. "Frost has a funny way of showing interest." A slight quirk of her lips paired with her playful tone.

Nadya rubbed at her chilled arm, "I can handle Frost." She had been countering him since they day they met, meeting his wit with her own and in the end gaining a certain sway over him. If their meeting with her healing him was any indication then loving Frost wasn't the question. "I'm working on it; I'll tell him." As much as Edie would like to think it was black and white, it wasn't...not when there was family concerned. Her brother and her children, she would always think of their well-being before her own. Nadya's brow rose at Edie's comment about liking each other given different circumstances. "That's how most rivalries are, there could be peace if only they talked and got to know one another." How very similar both her brother and Frost were and yet they would never see it. Both had been raised in hardship and fought with force for those they held dear. She would never tell Frost of her brother's own slavery upbringing and would never tell her brother of Frost's; it wasn't her place...but she wished that they knew and perhaps would find common ground in that.

But a drink Nadya could get behind. Her role as a mother meant her real partying had come to a halt and her drinking had been rare. Alcohol had been a means to calm her nerves during her forced shift period but never more than a shot or two. A night out sounded lovely, though unrealistic with her responsibilities. "Perhaps..." Nadya nodded in thought. "My burlesque is in the East, it's a sanctuary of sorts, a neutral territory for species. If you wanted to come there you could. I have a phenomenal bartender." Nadya raked a hand through her hair, "I should go. I know you'll take care of Frost and that I'll see him when he's well...he always finds me." Frost had never lost his stalker tendencies. With that Nadya backed away from Edie and into the grass. She passed behind a cluster of trees before reappearing in her feline form, glancing back at Edie before loping off up the hill.
