Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

in a moment we're lost in passion

dancing with this chemical attraction

There was something peculiarly comforting in this too familiar line of teasing. It was, after all, a topic that was largely shared with his gender, one that was so familiar that even women could, at times, too be involved in the prestige and heritage and magnificences of such wondrous creatures as the equestrian kind. Despite the centuries that existed between them, such creatures were still largely involved within so much of Sebastian's day and age. He was, at least, assured in his proficiency of at least riding to a point where he was assured Dorian, for all his horsemanship, might not leave him entirely behind. Despite that teasing challenge that so eagerly fell from his lips, this was an area he was all too aware he might likely have to eventually admit defeat. It hardly bothered him the least, however, Sebastian hardly ever feeling the need to be the best in such things. After all, court had a way, of sorts, of utterly decimating such attributes within those of lower classes such as himself. Still, for the sake of those mischievous games, the vampire offered the fairy beside him an all too warm simper to his own features, a small shrug crossing his shoulders ever so slightly, "I suppose we shall have to see, mon biche."

His own hand gingerly reached out to brush the nose of that gray mare he so cherished, instead leading the monarch further into the stables and towards the steed he had so intended to introduce to him. Truly, Sebastian had no intention of buying a horse that night, the man simply enjoying the sights and smells of the animals at the auction he had chosen to occupy himself with on that particular eve. This stallion, however, was undeniably majestic in his own right, putting to shame all those who came before and too after him. The price for him alone hiked up quickly and yet, for simply the resemblance of that nearly regal behavior within the creature to the enigmatic monarch he so cherished, Sebastian found himself wholly heartedly joining in those bidding wars. His own pockets were deep enough to ensure he came home with that very horse, much to the disdain of all else present. Still, he was hardly willing to admit defeat in this regard perhaps, his own toying lyrics calling out to the delicate beauty he so called his own.

The vampire could hardly deny that smug sense of pleasure when Stella so answered the call of her master. Despite the short amount of time in which he had owned her, there still, somehow, existed a sort of bond between the pair, one in which Sebastian clearly delighted within. He was hardly oblivious to the roll of Dorian's eyes and yet, even such, the gesture hardly dampered the grin upon his features, despite Stella's large disinterest for the apology she was so offered. Instead, however, Sebastian found himself stepping closer towards that refined ebony steed, admitting that he was the only such creature to so fill his stables that was, temporarily, nameless. That subtle suggestion so effortlessly fell from his lips that, perhaps, the owner of such a regal palfrey should be the one to so name him, the vampire wholly hinting that perhaps this very creature was a gift of sorts for Dorian himself. He knew well that the steed was hardly any sort of novelty, as far as such gift giving often went. Rather the vampire was assured that no matter what sort of present he might have bestowed upon his companion, someone, somewhere, at some point would have no doubt purchased the King something the same or, if not, better. Such was the nature, he supposed, of so loving a monarch.

Still, he appreciated the joy that so tugged at the corner of Dorian's features. It was that desire to create such happiness within the emotionative King that was at the heart of such ventures and purchases for Sebastian. There was something altogether glorious about being the cause of that radiant simper, one that so warmed the undead man's heart enough that a small smile too blossomed across his lips as he nodded in confirmation. "Stella would not laugh at him." Sebastian responded with such absolute certainty, as if he was intimately knowledgeable of the conversations the equines had in their absence. "Genevieve might though, she is feisty, and we cannot have that, can we boy?" His own fingertips reached out gingerly to brush against the warm ebony coat of the stallion, the vampire drawing far more affection from the creature then he likely should have. Still, his crystalline gaze shifted as Dorian so contemplated this very decision of the beast's name, that simple quest for a name somehow entirely of importance to the vampire.

Slowly, his head tilted to the side ever so slightly at the suggestion of Nikoli, the vampire entirely judging just how well the equestrian in front of him would so live up to such a name. Still, after a moment of silent consideration, his head nodded ever so slightly, his gaze shifted back towards his regal companion, a small simper gracing his features. "I think Nikoli fits him nicely." He uttered softly before Dorian's fingers so found his own, pulling him with the slightest of coaxing from the stalls of the horses he so delighted in. He remained silent as his companion so leaned into his body, his gaze so inquisitively watching that placidity that so seemed to radiate from his lover in that simple, quiet moment. That soft utterance of words, however, so brought that mischievous simper back to the vampire's features. "While I do not mind the hay, I suppose you are right, there is a woman present and I do take my job as Consort very seriously." There was no denying that implication of exactly his intentions with his lover, once they so returned to sanctuary of his own plus mattress. He had not yet to date been given the opportunity to so selfishly love the man in front of him in the fashion he surely felt and Sebastian had every intention to spend the last of his waking hours doing exactly that.
