Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was no denying that the Englishman's thoughts had a way of so orbiting that utterly bewitching fairy. Dorian had a manner to so slink past those meticulous barriers he'd put up between himself and the lovers he had, priorly, so nightly took and Sebastian found himself wholly infatuated. The simple touch of Dorian's fingertips upon his skin left his body alight with a fire that so often demanded to be quenched and yet, tonight, it would seem he was but to be left wanting. For all those lingering desires, however, Sebastian hardly complained, instead merely untangling himself from the sheets to so join Dorian within that closet to find some sort of formal clothing for what the evening had in store for them. He slipped that crisp, starchy shirt onto his pale form, buttoning it with dexterity before so fiddling with the tie around his neck. It was only at Dorian's inquiry that Sebastian's attention so shifted from his own dressing to the fae King himself, crossing that room to so smooth that collar with but a soft, sweet compliment upon his lips. Dorian was utterly stunning, of that Sebastian had no reservations, the man looking every bit as regal as his peerage surely made him.

Still, the fae's reassurance that the pair of them might so capture every woman brought a warm chuckle to his lips, the vampire rolling his eyes in response to the decidedly subtle admiration that laced such words he had been offered. He hardly voiced any such assurance in response, instead merely allowing the King's fingers to so grace that thin shirt, brushing over his shoulder and down his arm. The vampire remained entirely rooted to his spot, fully willing to so distract his lover from their efforts to dress if only for those lingering physical desires that still so grasped at him. He had, at least prior to that very moment, so attempted to remain entirely good if only for Dorian's sake, knowing well the man had put decided effort into their upcoming evening and yet, truly, Sebastian found himself entirely content with simply existing with his lover's affection. Thankfully, Charlie's voice from the other side of his bedroom door so interrupted those considerations of taking the man before him and silently, the vampire turned back towards his wardrobe to so fetch that finishing piece to his suit.

A small gesture was all that was given as he allowed his companion to lead the way, following him down the stairs and out the front door. The car was, as expected, entirely awaiting their arrival and without hesitation the vampire slid into that darkened vehicle beside his lover. His gaze, in an entirely inquisitive fashion, settled upon the silhouette of those buildings that so whisked by, his gaze drawn from his silent contemplations only by the sound of Dorian's voice. "Hm?" He glanced at the gestured article, noting the tie with a small glimpse of surprise registering on his features. Within those moments, the near centuries that existed between them were entirely present, the article of clothing had, after all, existed for as long as the vampire had been alive, the sheer notion of a fabric belt was entirely absurd to him and yet, he could do little more than straight it ever so slightly at the sheer notion of it. "Yes..." He uttered softly, a puzzled look momentarily gracing his features, "Though, I truthfully don't know why we wear them." It simply was the way things always were and as of such, Sebastian had never seen any reason to question it before now.

That genteel touch of Dorian's fingertips upon his hand momentarily drew his attention from that very tie, his indigo gaze glancing upwards towards the King, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. "Dorian, I do not expect any of this, you know. But I am sure that whatever it is will be amazing all the same." He offered his lover a warm simper, entirely determined to enjoy the evening all the same if only for the effort Dorian had so put into it. He highly doubted, however, that it would be difficult to do so, after all, with the Italian man at his side, he found his own sort of enjoyment easily enough as it was. Still, that slow lurch of the car momentarily drew his gaze back towards the tinted window, the vampire noting the manicured lawns that so sat outside of the vehicle. Nevertheless, the Englishman so effortlessly slid from the vehicle, his indigo irises so settling upon the golden building that stood so dominatingly in the distance. It was the sheer enigma that surrounded this evening that so distracted the vampire from that momentary consideration that so laced his lover's features, the vampire aware only at that soft touch of Dorian's fingers against his, the action nearly immediately drawing his gaze towards their intertwined hands. He glanced up towards Dorian but a moment later, that unexpected look smoothing away to a small simper of reassurance, his fingers tightening around Dorian's own in a small momentary squeeze.

He allowed Dorian to so lead the way up through the garden's, Sebastian gaze drifting from the multitude of colors that so surrounded him to those equally as well dressed individuals that so accompanied them in that moment, his own features entirely curious, to say the least. It was only upon those steps towards that large building that Sebastian found himself pausing, his eyes entirely trained upon that large banner that hung before those giant ivory pillars. He was entirely taken aback that Dorian had not only remembered the names of that array of artists he had so mentioned from his own era but too that Dorian had chosen this one from the mix, the only one he had truly held a real fondness for. The sound of Dorian's voice drew his gaze towards the King, an entirely giddy grin so brightening the Englishman's features. "I would kiss you now if we were not in public." He voiced softly, that simper ever present before his gaze turned brightly towards that building and those open doors. "I wonder who they have playing the piano tonight. The Orchestra doesn't have a piano player of their own but they can't possibly do Chopin without one. You should have heard it when Arthur Rubinstein played with them in 1994. The world regarded him as one of the best Chopin interpreters in history. I mean, he was good, don't get me wrong, but he was no Chopin."

Sebastian was hardly aware in the least the fashion at which the sheer possibility of the orchestra had so loosened his tongue more than he had certainly ever allowed himself to speak before. This singular topic perhaps one of the few that could so coax a nearly boyish excitement from the usually entirely composed man. Nevertheless, he followed the crowd towards the building and into the spacious lobby, the vampire all too inquisitively taking an offered brochure that so held details of tonight's performance, his gaze flickering over that singular paper which interest whilst his lover so dealt with their tickets. It was only once they were in line to enter the main auditorium that Sebastian so informed the King at his side of what his studious survey of the pamphlet so bestowed upon him. "They have Kate Lui playing tonight." He stated simply, as if this name should be of any meaning to his lover before, remembering a moment later, that it would not. "She placed third last year in the International Chopin Competition. I was not a fan of her lifts though and she always makes the funniest of faces whilst playing, although Charles looked as if he was going to cry half the competition but he chose to play a fucking Yamaha over the Steinway - astonished everyone. It was bloody brilliant. He made that piano sing, Dorian."
