Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Vhalla was almost disappointed when she finally had to pull her fingers away from his lips to allow him the space to eat the food. Offering him a knowing grin when he compliments Hannah she nods in agreement, "She has a talent." When she mentions his accent she can't help but raise her brows at his reply. "Ah, do you think you're making me swoon, William?" she purrs at him leaning across the table briefly hoping that close contact will make him squirm just as much as it he did to her. When he changes the subject she falls back into her seat and almost disappointed look dancing across her features.
"A little, enough to get by. I suppose if I was home more often I would try my hand at cooking. Though, I don't think I would be as good as Hannah," she ponders briefly. The woman certainly loved food however she wasn't entirely sure she would enjoy being the one in the kitchen to prepare it. As their conversation turns towards books she can't help but allow a gleeful smile to stretch across her features as she watches William become excited before her very eyes. Listening to his British accent become more prominent she releases an airy laugh.
"My, you do love books," she teases him gently. "That would have been wonderful to meet Charles or any authors who died centuries ago. Mostly because I feel like I have connection with them and would love to see what type of people they truly were," she shrugs as she chews over the thought. There were a great many people she would have liked to meet in another lifetime, unfortunately that wouldn't be possible for the assassin. She was smart enough not to be a wishful thinker though she did have her moments of weakness.
"That would be an unfortunate loss," she gives a small incline of her head agreeing with the Hunter. Vhalla would be terribly upset if she had lost her most prized possessions; her books. The assassin was careful to steer clear of her library when she was feeling temperamental, alas she incinerate her books. "I sometimes forget that I'm on a date with an old man," she laughs brightly her eyes narrowing in delight. When he mentions music Vhalla's own eyes light up as she leans forward again. "Ah, you're a music lover. I play the piano," she grins at him. It was another thing she supposed she could be thankful for her master for forcing her into those lessons at a young age.
Returning a grin, she begins to feel a gentle tug on that blood tie to her master. Stifling a groan and the bitter disappointment that wells in her body she stands and moves around the table to Will, the food finished and now forgotten. "Hmm, I much prefer being called a heathen," her eyes dance playfully, "Perhaps I will just to show you how much of a heathen I can be. Unfortunately, duty calls and I have to work tonight. I'll take a rain check though," she grins reaching out a hand to trace his cheek bone, "You can pick me up on Saturday, same place around two," she leans down and quickly places a kiss on his cheek. "See you around, William," she winks and turns on a heel exiting the room alone.
