Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The Ripper

William Jack Holloway

It was entirely devilish to creep into Sebastian's bed in such a way, and yet the Hunter couldn't help but utilize the blood that coated his wiry form to lure his companion from death's hold on him. He was well aware of the way the vampire within that bed would fall subject to those near feral instincts. After all, this was not the first time that he had taunted a vampire with that metallic scented substance, though it was the first time that William had full intentions of allowing that blood to be taken from him. There was nothing teasing about the way he offered that blood. For Sebastian - and Sebastian alone - that blood was his for the taking. The Duke fully anticipated that blood to be licked off his skin, but what really threw him was the way Sebastian fought through those instincts of his to instead ask if William was okay. The notion of it was enough to make him chuckle. Of course. Of course in all of this Sebastian would be worried about his safety. Hadn't he always? And while William offered up no explanation for exactly what it was that had made him bleed tonight, it seemed as though Sebastian didn't need or want one. No, instead William found that tongue upon his skin and any breath the Hunter had was stolen right out of his lungs.

He had a lover. He had given his heart. Will was entirely aware of these things and yet even that failed to cause the once-Victorian gentleman to pull away from the touches. He should. He should if only because whoever it was that had stolen Sebastian's heart meant something to the man. And yet, in that moment - and perhaps many other selfish moments since he found out - William found he didn't care. William had loved Sebastian first. In that alone the Hunter was prone to that possessiveness over the man. And besides, even if he should pull away, the way that his companion's tongue felt against his skin kept him locked firmly in place. The only movement the Hunter made at all was that tilt of his head to provide access to the blood stained skin of his. He was fully prepared for the bite that he was sure would come, and yet... there was nothing but the trail of teeth on his neck. That alone had the Hunter letting out a ragged, breathless sort of noise as he, too, lifted his eyes to that of Sebastian's. How he hadn't expected the man to tease him.

The way the Hunter lifted those long fingers up to caress his cheek was entirely affectionate. The man remained blissfully unaware of the way that his blood pulsed in those veins only inches from Sebastian's ear. It seemed that, despite his so blatant attempts at grabbing Sebastian's full attention with that blood coating his body, he was succeeding in ways he had yet to even consider. The Hunter hardly wanted to worry his companion and discussing the fact that the Council had found him would certainly do just that. He knew that there would be questions later, and yet right now the only thing William found himself doing was assuring him that he had taken care of that naive Hunter they'd sent after him. Sebastian's own chuckle had William's heart thudding so loudly within his chest. "Then perhaps he shouldn't have been foolish enough to come after me." He murmured. His thoughts remained entirely on the attention of Sebastian's lips on his skin.

The youthful appearing Hunter couldn't help the grin that spread across his features at Sebastian's words, though that smile only lasted a second as he was so shoved against the bed. He was barely given a second to consider the way he was pushed against the mattress before the vampire's tongue was on his skin again. Will let out a sharp breath at the sensation, his eyes fluttering closed for that split second before the feeling of Sebastian's fingertips on his shirt made those brown eyes of his fly open. For a moment, his mouth merely hung open in surprise. In truth, though William had offered it, he hardly expected that Sebastian would really drink from him. There had always been so many boundaries and rules and lines drawn between them. Even in their most risqué of evenings, it had never been like this, and frankly Will wasn't sure where that line was anymore or if it existed at all. But the look William was receiving wasn't that of lust. No, there was only hunger there and frankly, Will didn't mind. If it was merely hunger that would get Sebastian to touch him, then Will wished the vampire would always be hungry.

The vampire was so quickly ridding the Hunter of the blood that stained his pale skin. Soon, there would be none of that red substance on his body and surely Sebastian would bolt from the bed and their moment would be entirely gone. The very idea of it made William's heart seize within his chest. He'd waited two hundred years for a moment like this and it was too quickly fleeting. Soon, Sebastian would realize what he was doing and put up that wall between them once more. But that moment wasn't coming yet. Instead, William was entirely surprised by the man's words and the hand upon his hip. "Of course," He whispered - his tone surprised the Hunter. He sounded as though he'd just been running, and that small stutter that appeared only when he was nervous hung upon his tongue. His hand tugged at the hilt of his blade, pulling the dagger free to show him the blood stained weapon. "It's silver, though, Seb. You can't..." He could still remember the way the blade had scorched his companion's fingers that night in the alley, and yet the man made no attempt to move the weapon now. Instead, he grasped it almost lazily within one hand. His free hand moved up then to trail down the vampire's chest. William peeked up at him through his long eyelashes, quite curious as to what the vampire's next move might be.

But darling -- it's only human nature.
