Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

As soon as Henry was done speaking, he waited on baited breath to see what Sterling thought on the matter. Henry would do whatever Sterling asked of him. He loved the man next to him with every ounce in his being. It didn't matter that they had ended on such rough terms before. It didn't both him that Sterling had cheated on him. He didn't care about those things. They were the past and Henry was looking to the future. What Henry feared is that Sterling couldn't do as he did and he wanted a clean break to look for happiness elsewhere. The thought scared him shitless. So as he waited for Sterling's words, he felt his hands grow clammy and he felt himself beginning to sweat in nervousness.

When Sterling first spoke, Henry's heart sank. Henry wasn't a very emotional guy and had always had trouble showing emotion, but in this moment, Henry felt tears forming. This was the answered he had feared. Sterling wanted to start fresh, not with him. Instinctively, he scooted just slightly on the couch so their bodies did not touch.

Henry was just about to stand up from the couch when Sterling clarified his words: he wanted to start fresh with Henry. Relief sweapt over Henry and he let out a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding in. He wanted to draw Sterling into a hug and kiss him until the sun rose again tomorrow. However, that was not starting over. He had to control himself. "Then I guess I need to take you on a proper date." He would take Sterling on a million dates if he could. He just wanted to be with Sterling, even if he had to wait awhile before he could physically show it.

There was a grin of happiness on Henry's lips as he imagined being table to do all the things with Sterling that they didn't get a chance to do before. But the more he let his thoughts run rampant, the more scared he got. He finally landed on a realization that almost made this moment one of the worst of his life. "It also begs the question...do you want me to move out? Living together isn't exactly starting fresh. I don't want to impede on any boundaries you might want to have on our new relationship." While Henry didn't want to leave the apartment he shared with Sterling, it was a real possibility. If they were going to act as if they just started this relationship, they certainly didn't need to be living together. Even though they had never once shared a bed in this apartment, they were still always around one another. Who knew? Sterling may want some peace to himself.
