Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

It wasn't often that Sebastian spoke of the family he's long since lost. His mother, his father, and too the ghosts of history long past that haunted the halls of the homes he owned in England were hardly topics for the individuals that often existed within his company. Rather, it was Dorian alone that caused those walls the vampire had placed between himself and the world at large to slowly crumble, admitting things he hardly expanded upon nor fully intended to voice in the first place. His mother herself was a particularly complex topic to begin with, one filled with it's own bizarre mess of emotion that even now Sebastian still found himself rather uncertain of. Then again, time hardly seemed to heal all wounds for the vampire, some still just as painful as they had been hundreds of years ago. Still, a small simper crossed the vampire's features as Dorian so made the effort to reassure him that his mother would have adored his ability to so play the very instrument he had heard rumored she excelled at. His own memories of her were hazy at best. Regardless of those lingering thoughts, however, he offered his lover the smallest of smiles, his head bobbing ever so slightly. "Thank you, Ma Biche." He uttered softly, his attention shifting as Dorian so continued.

It was that talk of their practice of his affinity together that largely caught the vampire off guard, the Englishman immediately inquiring after that pronoun Dorian had so used. He hadn't anticipated his lover might so willingly place himself in such a position to allow his emotions to so willingly be changed against his will. Many within the world were against such a thing. Emotions were somehow a vulnerable part of them, something they often wanted to keep to themselves, to keep as their own. It spoke volumes to Sebastian of the trust his companion must have had within him to allow such a thing. The vampire was all too willing to admit that he would, perhaps, like to do such a practice once again. After all, as much as he hated to admit it, such a worry of afflicting any unfortunate souls who so happened to listen to his playing was a very real concern for the vampire, enough of one that Sebastian had taken to hiding his ability for the Piano within the confines of those four walls for at least a decade now. Dorian had been the first soul he had played for in some time, and hopefully, with the King's help, he might regain some control of his ability to ensure that Dorian was not the last to hear what his fingers were so capable of producing with the touch of those keys.

However, it seemed as if Dorian was hardly done with his appreciation of the vampire's hesitantly shared gift. He hardly expected the way Dorian rose to leave him alone at that piano, though Sebastian hardly complained in the least. Rather, he regarded his lover with a glimpse of curiosity as Dorian returned to his side with a piece of paper and a singular, white pastel in hand. His lips pressed together in a slight frown and yet, he hardly questioned his lover further on his intentions. After all, he knew Dorian would reveal his hand in time. Regardless, he could hardly help the way in which he so teased his lover with the second newfound affinity the King had been afflicted within the time in which he had known him. A soft snort left his lips as Dorian so blamed himself for the blossoming of these abilities and yet, the vampire found himself shaking his head ever so slightly. "I highly doubt that." He commented and yet, regardless, Sebastian fell slightly as his fingers once again found their place upon the keyboard at his lover's request.

Those musical notes once again filled the air of that ballroom, so prompting that same foreign affinity to life as his abilities reached out to embrace Dorian once again. In those quiet moments, his own attention was devoted entirely to his own craft, that song played with the same intensity and perfection as it had the first time moments ago. It was only once that melody came to an end that his bright blue eyes turned inquisitively to the man at his side, eying the painting of sorts he was presented with. He could hardly deny the emotion that singular work of art had so created within him - that Dorian had crafted this from their shared emotions. That he had so willingly embraced the vampire's peculiarity. It was enough to cause the vampire to lean forward to press his lips delicately against those of his lover's attempting to convey with that silent brush of affection the simple adoration he held for the King in that moment. Slowly, he withdrew from the fae, a small simper still settled on his lips as he inquired to so keeping that work of art. It was with a careful touch that the vampire took that piece of paper from the King. His attention deviated from that beautiful artwork only by the sound of Dorian's voice. That promise of what those surfaces in his house might offer him saw a hint of that unparalleled lust twinkle in the depths of those sky blue eyes. "I think, tonight, I'd rather see about these surfaces." He uttered with a grin, leaning forward to offer his companion but the softest brushes of his lips against the man's neck. His fingertips intertwined with Dorian's own, allowing the Italian fae to lead him from that piano and distract him with activities he arguably found just as pleasurable.
