Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch let the silence between them continue on, stretching like the road that past unseen before her stormy gaze. She could feel the shift of the lupine beside her as the car jolted forward, she could hear the rush of the zephyr through her ears as it's cold embrace touched her flesh, bringing bumps to the surface. The slow dissipation of the adrenaline coursing through her veins brought a horrible sense of realization to her. It was finally dawning upon her what they had done - the notion of the dead body within her trunk brought a sinking sort of sensation within the young girl. Sure, her mentor had been nothing shy of a complete jerk the past few years but even she questioned if he deserved death. In the end, however, the young girl found that it hardly mattered either way. What was done was done and that was all she could find herself caring about - picking up the pieces of her broken life and reassembling them into...something. Her lips pressed together in a thin line, unwilling to let all that lay before her overwhelm her. Presently - all she had to fret over was getting the lifeless corpse out of the back of what had just become her vehicle.

Briefly her stormy eyes shifted towards the lupine hanging out of the window as she finally found it within her to respond, her eyes rolling ever so slightly. She couldn't help but to wonder how right her mentor was when it came to her newly found...."familiar". Even she couldn't deny there wasn't something magical about the creature but Serafina certainly was inquisitive as to where the wolverine ended and the mortality begun. Right now, she certainly seemed to fall too readily within her canine side. Maybe it was just a ruse to put the young witch at ease? Or maybe Serafina was started to see paranoia at every corner. The witch shook the thought from her head, instead redirecting her attention to the road as she dragged the car off the asphalt. She meandered the vehicle with little difficulty in front of a grave, all too aware that her idle comment brought a hint of disdain from her companion. At the moment, she hardly cared though, willing to take advantage of the wolf's usually large size and four paws compared to what little Serafina could do with her hands alone, even if it meant having the were agitated at her.

She stood silently with her arms crossed beside the hole the wolf was creating, her grey tinged gaze observing the progress the were was making with the hole. The young witch remains silent, lost deeply in some thought of what she still had left to tend to. Her gaze blinked at the sound of the wolf shaking the clumps of dirt from her fur, a scowl crossing the woman's fair features as she was unceremoniously hit with some of such debris. Regardless, she turned to pop open the trunk, her stormy eyes staring down at the lifeless body within. She watched mutely as the wolf dragged his carcass back towards the hole, dropping it with a thud into the dirt. She could feel the gentle nudging of the canine now that the body was in place and briefly the young woman shook her head. "There is nothing to say for him." She spoke simply before, quite suddenly a single notion hit her. "There is...something we can do." She added in an afterthought, her head tilting the side. The young woman turned abruptly, returning to the driver's seat of the vehicle as she reached over to grab the bag she's so habitually snatched.

The messenger bag was much of Serafina's lifeline, always holding exactly three potions for her defense, several empty bags for herbs and equally as so several empty vials with only one knife. It came it handy more often then once, sometimes she'd stumble across a rare herb in the outskirts or a raging were in the warehouse. Tonight, however, the act she was about to commit was far more morbid then anything else she'd done to date. She dragged the vial with her, a rare glimpse of determination crossing her features as she slid with some degree of grace down into the hole the wolf had created. She pull out the knife from he bag, letting it drag across the artery beneath his wrist. The silver was sluggish to run from his veins, his body cooling but she had been quick enough that with a little effort, the girl managed to get his blood flowing into one of her empty containers. "Keep an eye out." She said simply, keeping herself attentive to her task. It wasn't until the girl had filled every phial she had (even emptying out those her potions were brewed within) that she dragged herself from the hole, looking with a pleased gaze upon what she'd collected. "Now we can be done with him." She responded, tucking the silvery substance back into her bag and, without another word voiced the girl kneeled down to assist in pushing the pile of dirt back into the hole.
