Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was hardly any concern Raven felt for doing most of the work at disposing the carcass. Serafina was nothing more than a small witch that didn't have the strength to life the carcass from the trunk, and drag it into the makeshift grave. Actually, Serafina wouldn't have been able to make a dent in the ground with her bare hands. Besides this was a delicate job that needed be done in a quick and timely manner. She couldn't just wait for the girl to try and pitch in. The only thing she was agitated about was her confusion at not being able to understand why she was willing to do whatever it was she needed to do for a witch she hardly knew. In fact, this witch was constantly getting in trouble and Raven couldn't understand why she felt the need to protect her. The warlock mentioned something about 'familiar,' but that term was unfamiliar to her (no pun intended.) Sitting quietly the lupine simply watched as the raven-haired woman returned to her vehicle and grabbing some sort of old faded bag. Her head would lower some, cold nose pressing into the fabric, as an aroma of a variety of scents overwhelmed her causing the girl to snort and shake her head in disgust. Grey ear twitched when she heard the command and wordlessly her eyes shifted and began to scan around their environment. As the young woman began to climb from the 8 feet deep hole, her muzzle would lower allowing the girl something to hold on to as she held get the witch out of the grave, at the same time questioning the young woman.

"Why did you take his blood?"

As Serafina began to kneel down to push some of the dirt into the grave, the oddly marked wolf gently pressed her grey paw into the girl's side, all the while shaking her head. Once again there was no need for the girl to do such manual labor, her small hands just wouldn't do the trick. As she began to move the dirt into the hole the time didn't take long until the grave was fully covered. Slowly her banner would sway side to side as one large pink tongue easily swiped across the young woman's face, pleased that this task was done and over with. With her form shifting into its original size she would hop back into the car sitting in the front seat, like any pet, as her skull cocked to the side. Tonight she wouldn't be able to make it back to the warehouse. Tobi would surely be sitting up there, agitated that she had no come by to feed and spend time with him, as was their routine, but she felt she had to stick around the witch just a little bit longer. There were answers needed and since the grey-eyed woman did not care that her mentor was dead, Raven would try to get over it. As soon as the engine roared to life and they began to pull out of the cemetery did she finally speak up.

"Can I...stay with you for a while maybe you can explain to me what this familiar thing means...and actually give me your name?"

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
