Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He is entirely aware, in that moment, of the shock that seemed to reverberate through the woman at the biting, sharp words he affords her with. The girl near recoiling from him as if in shock from that sharpened tone and yet for once he affords her little comfort. His mood decidedly dark this evening, Frost entirely content to treat her as the subordinate she was here and now and so remind her of the manner in which she had stepped out of place. His tolerance for her evidently far lower than it normally might be. Edie so often inclined to 'get away' with more than he might allow in any other and yet here and now he cares little for her opinion. His mind taken with far too many other thoughts. For tonight alone he requires her to be just what she is- his entirely loyal Beta. Her judgement on the issue hardly called for unless he asked it from her. Yet another shade of his personality to making itself clear this evening. Any stress upon the man so evidently seeing his tolerance for even Edie lessened tonight. He had not anticipated this outcome, had hardly, truly, intended to murder Tetradore and yet he had more then once been inclined to lose control of his own power within the thick of battle. This the very reason he so afforded himself that control, a control he so prided himself on, one that had slipped but once before within this city leaving Raven as little more then a broken toy and now her fool of an Alpha was dead. Yet still, this hardly explained why the man had burned as if on fire. Even his own heating capacity had never rendered another to a pile of ash. Something was simply not....correct in this and yet here and now he hardly cared to think of it any more.

It is her assurance that she was merely glad he was ok that, perhaps, seemed to soften the man if only slightly, the violet of his gaze lingering upon her own, that crack and break to her tone hardly missed, his hand briefly finding her own in some assurance- at least, that he hardly had any intentions to leave her in that fashion. It would take far more than the Nightshade pack to be rid of him, of that he was entirely assured. Frost hardly unaware of those tears that threatened to leave the girls eyes and yet for now at least he hardly chose to embarrass her with a mention of them. How curious it was that his presence so seemed to mean something to her, at least, perhaps more than he had anticipated. The girl truly seeming to hold affection for him as so few ever did, something almost akin to a simper seeming to find its way to his lips at her words before she very near offered him something that sounded almost akin to an order. Hmm, getting awfully bold wasn't she? Whatever words he had been about to offer so silenced by her rewording of just that statement as she so focused upon his wounds. In that, at least, she was correct. The stallion hardly fool enough to bring further challenge upon that pack while he himself was less then fit. He had seen enough battle to understand the advantage of his own health in the least. No challenge would come tonight, of that he was sure. The west would do nothing but grieve for at least one night, so ruled by there emotions as they were they wouldn't possess the sense to come at him now while their victory might be anything but assured, that acid still burning at his shoulder. Frost entirely assured that this was but another example of why those emotions merely bled nothing but weakness in turn. If they had the spine for it they would come tonight and yet he knew they wouldn't. Even beneath Tobias whom was perhaps prone to volatility. He was but equally prone to the will of his curly-haired mate and Raven alone would hold him back. Tonight would be better used healing his own wounds for what might come in the next few days.

That peroxide hitting his skin sees a curse leave his lips, that medication burning almost as much as the acid on the open word, his hands clenching into a fist as Edie so attempted to mutter those soothing words. It was necessary, he knew and yet god damn it burned! He could feel that taint of her magic, feel it closing that wound and yet that action alone so seemed to bring about some relief at last. The acid, finally, seeming to have been drawn free and yet the snowy-haired man held ever belief it would scar, the flesh damaged beyond the immediate efforts of either his or his companions healing. Yet another battle scar to add to that canvas of his skin. It is fortunate, perhaps, that his human form was decidedly light, Edie entirely capable of helping him to his feet once more. Frost grateful to the woman in that moment at least as he moved at last to collapse into that chair he favoured. His mind already having come to deduce something of a plan in those moments since. Frost hardly inclined to merely wallow in that pit of emotion as the West side pack. For all they may say of him he was hardly a fool in the least. The man already so contemplating that next move. Edie settling upon the chair beside him is entirely permitted, Frost seeing no need to distress her further this evening, especially over his own well-being, the man so assuring her once more of just that before thanking the woman for her efforts tonight. Frost assured he would not forget it, nor those tears that seemed to well in her eyes once more, the girl hurriedly turning her head away. A soft sigh drawn at last from his own lips in but a surprising moment of.....care for the woman.

"There is no need to cry, Elskan, all will be well."

He meant it, entirely so, Frost shifting but slightly to allow her to seat herself beside him and very near curly up upon his chest. The man, this time, making no efforts to move her even as her lips so graced his cheek, stirring but a soft chuckle from within his throat. If she desired to sleep beside him he held little doubt she would do just that.

"I suppose I might let you for tonight then."

It is only as she sighs in the wake of those orders and asks after that Fae Queen that sees any true note of seriousness return to the man, one hand moved idly to twist but a single finger near absentmindedly within her hair in perhaps his own subtle return of that affection he so often struggled to display with near any being. His own frosted, cool words so parting his lips now.

"It has much to do with the Fae Queen. She was the girlfriend of Tetradore and I took it upon myself to...entertain her a little."

There is but a single pause, Frost so seeming to consider his words once more before offering them to Edie.

"Tetradore made a point of keeping Nadya away from me, I was irritated about that, so I convinced his girlfriend over some weeks that the fae who turned her were seeking her. She became a little paranoid so to speak, convinced every shadow was after her. I showed her in the end they were no more then mere illusions and yet her hysterical screaming so managed to draw Tetradores attention and that was how our battle started. Yes, a little cruel I know, I fear I have that tendency at times. Though I fear too Nadya may well behead me for this as it is. Her brother's death was....unanticipated."
