Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

Anna's attention like many children was a fickle thing, constantly swaying from one thing to the next. This little fluffy creature was the newest and shiniest thing that would occupy her attention, whether that was good or bad for the creature was yet to be determined. For now at least the child vampire seemed jovial over her new company. Anna-Marie cracked open the apple and handed over a piece, watching the creature nibble on it though she offered very little time for her to enjoy it before the child's thoughts moved onto something else. There was much better treats within the house. Anna was quick to pluck up her nearly declared pet, giggling at its squeaking roar of intimidation before she offered the simple explanation of more food inside. It would do no good for if this creature belonged to someone to linger outside; best to get it inside and ensure her new ownership over it.

The exquisite and expansive interior of the estate was so normal for Anna that it no longer caused her to bat an eye or think that someone else would be taken by it. The small vampire made a beeline right for the kitchen and the platter of goodies situated on it. "I like the cupcakes best but I save them for last." Anna explained before she grabbed a cookie and nibbled on it. Her inquisitive blue eyes watched the red panda pick up an identical cookie. "You like it?" Of course she didn't expect a reply from the panda though it was no different than her talking to her dolls. Her dolls! A new idea popped into her head and with a delighted grin clamored from the counter and scooped the red panda from the surface.

The fact that the constant plucking may be disorientating to the creature or even humiliating never occurred to Anna. "Let's play in my room! We can have a tea party." She happily stuffed a few of the cookies into the pocket of her dress and hurried off with the panda in her arms upstairs to her room. "You'll like Mrs.Nesbit." Anna smiled as she stepped into her bedroom. Anna's room looked like any other wealthy child's room with a large plush bed, myriad of dolls lining shelves, a large dollhouse situated on a low table, and a tea table with real china set up. The only thing out of place....was the drained and dead pre-teen lying on the floor by the chest sitting at the foot of the bed. "She wasn't supposed to do that." All at once Anna's demeanor changed to annoyance as she stopped her foot, placing the panda down on a chair at the tea table before addressing the body.

"Crishlyn is gonna be mad if she makes a mess." Anna huffed as she dragged the girl's body across the floor of her room and out into the hallway. Despite Crishlyn's absence the cleaners which were well aware of their vampire status still came around everyday so Anna left the body out for them to deal with. Anna gruffed once more as she closed her bedroom door to return to the creature she had momentarily had to leave. "Now....where were we?" That innocent smile crossed Anna's features, digging out the cookies from her pocket then situating herself on the chair across from her new pet. "Oh, I know." Anna reached up and undid the white satin ribbon from her hair and easily tied it in a bow around the creatures neck as a temporary collar. "There, perfect!..Now you're mine...all mine and no one else's. Your name will be...mmmm...Lady." Yes, that name will do well. Anna looked back at the panda expectantly as if all this was oh so normal.
