Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There is just one thing I need

you were the answer to my dreams

There was no denying that anxiety that so filled the vampire at that prospect of venture out of his home and directly into the bright sunlight that so utterly teased the Englishman. How long it had been since he'd so much as seen the simple luminosity, much less the fashion at which is so set the world awash with a warmth that he had simply forgotten the color of. For so long he had been lost to those hues of blues and whites, to that darkness, and yet, despite all of that fear, Sebastian simply refused to see himself so lost to such an overwhelming sensation lest he resembled that of their fairer gender with their dramatism. Though the sun overhead was fully capable of seeing an end to his life, Dorian had offered him a simple promise and, more importantly, an opportunity. It would be foolheartedly to so waste it from some panic. After all, he was entirely assured the King loved him, would it not be within his best interest too to see it that Sebastian so made it through this? Such thoughts, such reasoning, and such determination so saw the vampire step into that brightness of the dawn his lover so eagerly stood within, clearly wanting to see far more of Belton at day than to simply wait around for the vampire to find courage.

He was hardly oblivious to his lover's stifled amusement as the vampire so grumbled to himself, stepping into that light without a moment's hesitation, moving down those stairs the same way he might if it was the night itself. And yet, despite the King's efforts to say hide that laughter, Sebastian merely provided his lover a singular glance, choosing not to speak on the topic at all before, quite pointedly, changing the topic to the Orangery and the glass building that so stood in the distance. And yet, despite all his persistence and too his wish to see the contents of that greenhouse under the relentless light of the sun, a singular fact became all the more present to the vampire. It was cold. It was a bite that seemed to nip at any uncovered flesh, so sending a shiver down the vampire's spine. At least his usually undead body was oblivious to that frigidity that so often overtook it. This cold was entirely uncomfortable, so seeing Sebastian draw his jacket closer towards his figure as they stood beneath that overcast grey sky. His bright blue eyes shifted at the sound of his lover's voice, his head bobbing ever so slightly in response.

"Your blood starts moving through your system the more your move." It was the best explanation the vampire had, any further inquiries on to the how such blood flow so increased the warmth, however, was entirely out of his depth. Still, knowing how the body so worked, to some degree, was entirely different then simply having an actually alive body. It was silly, the way he nearly felt so out of touch with his alive flesh. It simply reminded him of how utterly long it had been since that fateful night in which he was murdered beneath those stars. How much had changed since then. The vampire shook his head ever so slightly, instead moving through that snow towards the very building he had so wished to visit and the warmth it surely would hold for them both. And yet, though he moved with a purpose, his own gaze drifted with an undeniable appraisal of that home he so utterly cherished. How he adored Belton and the very sight of the estate beneath the sun. How he had missed this place. It brought back memories of years he'd spent here, both as a child and with William at his side. Those simple memories were enough to cause a small simper to so settle upon his features as he crossed that faux bridge.

His gaze rose as they neared that fountain, his eyes falling on those quiet creatures that were so forging the bushes that still existed around the fountain, their simple presence was enough to cause the vampire to stop quite abruptly in his trek, all too aware of Dorian's body nearly colliding into him, causing him to take a singular step forward, the snow crunching beneath his shoe. Gingerly, his fingers brushed against the King's figure, his own eyes so entirely trained upon the creatures as he gestured toward them. How long had it been since he had hunted upon his own grounds? With his hours so limited to the sun itself, such games were often equally as limited for him. So many of nature's wildlife too slept within those hours Sebastian was cursed to be awake within. That sound of Dorian's voice, however, so immediately caused the deer's attention to snap towards the two men, their presence entirely fleeting as they ran at a headlong dash back towards the forests that so surrounded his grounds and the sanctuary those trees and the accompanying mist surely would offer them. A soft chuckle left his lips as he turned towards his lover, so aware of that sheepish look that crossed Dorian's own features.

Those words that left his lover's lips brought a warm grin to his features at the activities they had so engaged within but hours before and yet Sebastian was hardly perturbed in the least, simply waving off the notion altogether. "I doubt that will be a problem." He responded with a audible amusement to his voice, leaning forward but moment's afterward to gingerly press his lips against Dorian's cheek. After all, with the servant's sleeping in the basement, he highly doubted his own actions with his lover would have perturbed them in the least. He hardly stopped his lover from stepping away from him, stead merely watching the King as he moved towards the edge of that fountain. He watched as his lover leaned forward to let his fingers brush against that ice, those softly spoken Italian words enough to so prompt the vampire to join him. His own gaze shifted over the layer of ice that separated them from the waters beneath. Dorian's words saw his attention shift towards the king, his head bobbing ever so slightly. "Yes, when it gets warmer, it will. For now it's too cold for it to remain liquid. Dorian, have you ever gone ice skating?" He inquired suddenly, entirely inquisitive of the other winter activities his lover had so missed out upon, if snow and ice seemed to so baffle the monarch.

His own idle curiosities, however, were interrupted only by his lover stepping away from that frozen fountain, redirecting the vampire's attention once again towards that glass building that had so coaxed this journey within the first place. The vampire moved towards that enticing warmth, allowing his lover's gloved fingers to so intertwined within his own. "I think, it's best if I show you." Sebastian responded to Dorian's question, a simper once again settling across his features as he led his lover up those steps and towards those grand glass doors. The glass panes themselves were foggy in those wee hours, brought on by that drastic change in temperature inside in comparison to the cold world that the two were so subjected to, so hiding the contents entirely. He paused at the door, his hand resting on the handle as he turned the knob, so dragging his lover into the warmth that so embraced them. Sebastian reached up towards the zipper of that navy jacket, unzipping it to so pull the jacket off of him. His bright blue eyes shifted around the interior of the greenhouse, a small smile crossing his features at the greenery that so surrounded them.

He turned back towards Dorian, placing his coat on the rack next to the door. "It's glass to let the light in." He stated, so answering his lover's original question, even though he was fairly certain by now that such idle inquiry was obvious of it's own accord. He stepped down the main corridor of the greenhouse, gesturing for his lover to follow him. There was a glimpse of satisfaction upon his features as he eyed that greenery, pausing before a gathering of trees. "Have you ever had a pear, Ma Biche?" He inquired, nodding lightly towards the fruit that dangled from the trees.
