Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

That press of Dorian's lips upon his own as the man's tongue so brushed against the vampire's proved to nearly exclusively engross the man, pulling his thoughts from that downward spiral that those lingering memories of his wife so often seemed to send him tumbling within. It was so often that simple action prompted the pair into more sensual activities and yet, tonight, even it was not enough to arouse the Englishman in the effortless manner it so often did. Sebastian's indigo hued eyes settled upon that fit figure that rested against his chest, all together aware of that contemplative look that so crossed the King's features. He was hardly oblivious that, in that moment, Dorian was taking particular care to arrange those syllables in such a fashion that certainly aligned with their polite upbringing, even in spite of vaguely requesting that the vampire himself did not. His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as his lover insisted that the discontent that had once wrecked his marriage was not his indiscretion alone to bare and yet, the vampire found himself providing little in way of answer beyond a sound of disbelieved agreement. After all - his lover had but a glimpse of that picture, Sebastian entirely had neglected to mention all of those things that he had been responsible for. There, in his past, was a veritable plethora of moments that he had subjected her to. The things he had done to her. Still, to breach upon that topic would have not assisted him in his efforts to ensure those promises he had offered hours ago were fulfilled.

Instead, Sebastian's attention turned towards that wooden board game, picking up that numbered card of sorts in his hand as he so studied it, inquiring after the rules for this very thing his lover had so taunted him with for days now. His gaze turned towards the King as the fae abruptly moved away from him, only to fetch his own associated board. A glimpse of curiosity crossed his features at his lover's words, the vampire himself was entirely inquisitive as to what this game entailed that might prove liquids spilling upon that plush bed. Still, he knew better than to ask, instead simply following the King as he made himself comfortable upon the floor. For a brief moment, the vampire eyed Dorian with an entirely surprised glimpse upon his features. How long had it been, truly, since the Englishman had found himself settled on the floor with a board game in front of him? It was almost as if he was but reliving those years of boyhood long since past. Even so, the vampire hardly complained as he sat across from his lover, placing his own board down in front of him as his legs folded beneath him. His gaze turned expectedly upwards towards the man, fully anticipating some sort of explanation as to what those pieces before him were and, furthermore, why exactly they were upon the floor over that comfortable blankets but feet away from them.

The vampire's gaze shifted to that board as Dorian made an effort to explain that bit of amusement the pair intended to indulge within. The game itself seemed rather easy - in fact, it was quite familiar to him in some aspects, resembling that Bingo his country, and in turn several others, were entirely obsessed with. His eyes trailed over the front of his own board before glancing at his boyfriend's, entirely confirming those simple facts Dorian had but moments ago offered him. They two boards were indeed entirely different and yet, it was a different notion altogether that lingered upon the vampire's mind. "I get to request an article each time I get a row or a column?" He inquired, waiting for that confirmation before he pointed out a glaringly obvious fact. "You're going to run out of clothing before even half the board is completed." Still, he supposed that such was perhaps the point, after all, he hadn't but the faintest notion of how long such games truly did last. Besides, such a fact was hardly going to stop him from playing, particularly considering he had every intention of disrobing the King down to those red undergarments they had both chosen for this very occasion. "It seems....easy enough." He commented, more to himself, truly, then his newfound competition.

The notion of those red numbers upon his board were certainly inquisitive and yet, Sebastian hardly commented on them in the least. After all, his knowledge of ancient Italian and how the language had changed since his own youth was decidedly limited. Though, knowing the man in front of him, trusting him entirely to read those 'surprises' certainly seemed as if Sebastian was leaving himself open for exploitation. It would certainly be inquisitive, how this game so played out. However, rather than lingering upon his lover's impish nature, the man merely watched as Dorian's hand dipped into that first bag, plucking a number from it's depths. A small frown crossed his lips as he found but one instance of it. He watched as Dorian put three of those small disks on his own board. This was clearly not starting out well for him. Still, he was hardly concerned, they had a whole board left for Sebastian to gain some headway. "Don't get chuffed, there's still a long way to go." He commented, a small simper settled but briefly upon his lips, that British slang still falling thoughtlessly though that accent. Nevertheless, the vampire reached into that bag, digging about for a moment before choosing one at the bottom in hopes that this one would do him more favors than the last did.

"Twenty-three." He stated simply, placing that tile down face up next to the one Dorian had so haphazardly tossed on the rug beneath them but moment's ago. It took a moment of diligent searching to find one of those numbers upon his board, a chip fished to place there even if it was but halfway across the board from his other singular success. Still, finding one was better than none, wasn't it? Sebastian glanced upwards, entirely pleased to see that, unlike last time, Dorian had but one occurrence of this number. Any progress was good progress - was it not? "See, I'll catch up to you yet." The vampire muttered, entirely pleased and yet, he leaned back to rest upon his hand as Dorian picked another number from those bags. The game was on and soon enough, those boards were covered in sporadically placed discs. It was but the vampire's turn yet again as he reached into that bag of dwindling disks, another plucked from it before he read the number, his figure perking ever so slightly. "Oh, Dorian, I got eighteen." That little red tile had taunted him through much of the game thus far, the pair had already called several numbers near that one, his board filled with tiles nearly all around it except for that singular number until now. He had been wholly curious on what this little tile was for and what sort of surprise might be written on the other side. The vampire tossed that number into the growing pile before them, his finger reaching forward to press that little tile only to watch it flip in the fashion his lover had declared it would at the beginning of the game. How utterly curious. He glanced at the words written on it, entirely surprised to note he recognized some of them and yet, he hardly lingered upon this fact long before handing it over towards the King, those indigo eyes steadfast upon his lover in that moment.
