Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonfor pleasure seldom has a cure

The Englishman had endured a very strict upbringing, those social graces so engrained within the boy at a young age even if he was not the first born male. There was much still expected from him all the same and he had a dutiful son, eager to please, or at least to appear to do so. There had always been certain rules, naturally, in which he had been willing to bend or ignore altogether, particularly when it entailed which acts were acceptable between the genders. However, something such as this, something so clear cut - he struggled to find acceptance with going against that which he had been taught, the vampire chewing rather pensively upon his bottom lip in a rather rare display of his uncertainty. It felt, somehow, wrong to let them all go unanswered, much less to have some generic 'thank you' greeting. Those letters deserved to be read, did they not? That light touch of Dorian's fingers against his arm drew his gaze away from those numerous envelopes and towards the silver gaze of his lover. His lover's suggestion was rather...practical. Even Sebastian could see the merits of such a decision. After all, the party invitations were hardly of the same personal variety as the actual hand written letters within some of those envelopes. Slowly, his head bobbed after a moment of consideration. After all, employing such a tactic could make things far more manageable for the both of them. "Yes...I think that would do nicely." A small simper graced the man's features and yet, any further thoughts of that mail were wholly distracted by the sudden presence of that sweet substance he could smell the moment that metal foil was peeled back.

His gaze was wholly attentive upon that chocolate, even when the King finally saw fit to share with him that delectable dessert he so utterly found himself obsessed with. There was something of that milky melt-in-your-mouth sweetness that he enjoyed, even if he truly had purchased the substance rather rarely in the past. Still, he saw no reason to not engage in so retaliating against his lover's efforts to tease him for his love of the substance - the point of often consuming more than his fair share. The pout that marred his features at that scolding he'd received and yet, he hardly expected such a glance to be nearly as effective as it was. His bright blue eye glanced upwards at the man at that abrupt and unexpected shift to Dorian's heart, even if he hadn't the slightest notion as to why such a sudden change had occurred. That extra row he was presented with was all too graciously accepted, the vampire quite near visibly brightening as that bar was handed to him. That additional chocolate surely worth the playful push he was afforded with and yet, Sebastian could hardly help the chuckle on his lips. "You mean I'm not gorgeous all the time?" He inquired, eying his lover with a rather playful glimpse upon his features.

The realization that it would soon be their anniversary, however, and the memories that so came associated with exactly where they had been just a year prior had a fashion of prompting those peculiar emotions within the man. How he had once feared Dorian might bore of him! How he'd known he was smitten with the fellow and yet, he was eternally striving to keep him at arm's length, to be accustomed to the idea of him eventually leaving - and now look at them, contemplating their future together. It was enough to make the man desire that closeness with his boyfriend, so prompting him to shift ever so slightly so that his head rested upon Dorian's shoulder. He remembered the way Dorian had be so in awe of that room he'd taken him back to - and the way that those Tiffany lamps had so intrigued him before Sebastian himself had taken all of the man's attention. A soft chuckle left his lips at the memory of just how taken the Monarch had been with that bed. "Ahh, so that's why you were so keen to fall asleep." He commented, a small grin tracing his features. Still, it left the idle inquiry of what they so intended to do to celebrate their anniversary.

That suggestion that Dorian offered to so revisit that place that had so started all of this was met with a warm grin, the vampire wholly agreeing to seeing to acquiring that room for them for that evening. Rather, it was the notion of spending several hours upon the beach, however, that prompted him to hesitate. He could hardly deny that almost innate fear he held of the sunlight if only for the knowledge of what it was wholly capable of doing to the man. His skin quite near combusted with any sort of extended contact of those rays. Healing from it was terribly painful and took near days with that overwhelming hungry so gnawing at his stomach. It was hardly astonishing the way Dorian so seemed to pick up upon his uncertainty, much less the man's rather quick suggestion that they might certainly do something else if he so desired it. His head shook from side to side at the man's efforts to provide him a way out of sorts. After all, if this was what Dorian desired, he had no reason to say no. He trusted that the Monarch would do everything within his power to keep vampire safe. Surely that knowledge alone would have to be enough. "That sounds lovely, Dorian." He uttered softly, glancing up at the King with a small simper. He was willing to try for the man he loved.

It was that sudden shifting from beneath him that caused the vampire to glance upwards, simply watching as Dorian moved the sheets beneath them only to pull those blankets aside. That suggestion to 'come on' was hardly fought - not with Samantha here any longer to fret over. Rather, the vampire placed the rest of his allocated chocolate back within that foil as the King pushed it back into the bed stand. The man made himself comfortable beneath those sheets, quickly embracing his companion as Dorian so placed himself against his bare chest. That admittance he was afforded caused a soft chuckle to leave his lips as the vampire snuggled closer. "It's cold without you." He uttered softly in response, pausing only to add, "I'm glad you said yes." That notion of what tomorrow had to hold for them was nearly exciting for the vampire, even if he appeared to be wholly put together as he curled against his companion, entirely willing to let the sun steal him away as her she rose over the horizon.
