Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

It was a certain curious glance between Dorian and Sebastian that Anna stood before them. Their intertwined fingers drawing her attention for a moment before the need to retell her story to Sebastian pulled it away. At least Dorian collaborated her story with more details. Anna nodded along and happily held up the doll which Dorian had created for Sebastian to see. "This is Lyra. Dorian can draw and make it real." However, it wasn't until the part in which Dorian explained Anna's decision to move in did the entire atmosphere shift. Sebastian's frame tightened which in turn caused Anna to tighten though for an entirely different reason.

Sebastian's utterance of no sparked more fire within the little vampire than Dorian's ever could. "Crishlyn is gone...I think a Hunter got her." Though she didn't seem overly torn about it other than for a loss of a playmate. Anna shook her head in defiance though, "You said to come with you at the party." She easily recalled the vampire coven meeting in which Sebastian had reached out to her. Anna had been irritated with the events and fled instead of choosing either. "You took me away. You got me a present..." That defiance and anger grew ever stronger, her gaze hardening back at the vampire whom she was attached to on more than one level.

The shifting of Dorian to Sebastian's side was what finally triggered Anna. It was his fault...surely. He was taking her Sebastian away from her. Anna's fingers curled, easily finding Sebastian's essence and so seizing him with a flick of her wrist, tossing him away. It was in no way Anna's intention to harm Sebastian, simply to move him, as it wasn't Sebastian who was her target. No sooner had she made to get Sebastian out of the way that the speed of her species had her upon Dorian. Her ability so easily wrapped about him, pulling him frozen down to his knees with her poised behind him to glare at Sebastian over his shoulder. "I'll kill him if you try to come over. You're my Sebastian. I could tell you to kill him and you have to do it. I made you. You're mine."

Anna was practically trembling from her frustration as behind her the shadows had begun to pull together, churning and curling up to take the subtle forms of what could only be described as demons. She had yet to learn how to control her shadow creature ability which at the moment was completely linked to her emotional state. This certainly wasn't how she thought this night would go.
