Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She relaxed against his chest as he joined her in the bath. She missed feeling him so close to her, despite them being close for weeks now. There was something about him that seemed to instantly calm her nerves. He suffocated the fear that she felt and she was able to relax and not think about anything when she was with him. Troy was perfect for her and he meant the world to her.

When he said that the only thing she needed to prepare was her body, she chuckled as she slowly turned in the bath to face him. She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck as she kissed him softly. "I want us to get ready for this baby together." She wanted to help him with the nursery and getting things ready. When the baby finally did arrive, she wanted everything to be perfect.

She let her kiss linger on his lips before she leaned forward to rest her head on his bare shoulder. Her arms dropped into the water, hands resting softly on his hips as she grew quiet again. Her thoughts traveled to her pregnancy and what it meant for her species. She was scared. "I want you to keep an eye out. I'm sure news of a pregnant vampire won't settle well with my species." She wasn't sure what people would do when they found out, but she wanted him to be ready for the very real possibility that someone might want to harm her or her baby. While she hoped that nothing would happen, she couldn't promise that it wouldn't.

As the bath water grew cold, Amelia decided to untangle herself from Troy. She stood up slowly, pulling a towel from the rack and wrapping it around her body as she stepped from the tub. She grabbed a second towel, handing it to Troy. She was quick about drying herself off before she moved to stand in front of the mirror to brush through her hair. She could see Troy behind her and it caused her to smile. She was happy with him and she didn't want anything to change between them. "Thank you for sticking around...it means a lot to me." He had every opportunity to get up and run the moment she found out she was pregnant. But here he was, still here, and still trying so hard to ensure she was taken care of.
