Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
In the wake of those mere two days alone and away from the fae he so desperately found himself needing, those sesnations that assaulted his frame with each roll of Dorian's hips were so utterly breathtaking. Those groans fell from his mouth with the same rapidness as he so seemed to near gulp for air, the man plummeting towards the end of that satisfaction, no longer able to restrain himself at those firm final thrusts of his lover's form into his own. In that sweet moment of the King's release, his whole body seemed to react in kind, that simple completion of his lover's near catapulting the vampire into his own. His back arched ever so slightly, even as Dorian made an effort to steal that final kiss from his lips and yet, in that aftermath, even the undead Englishman felt wholly spent, fleeting though it might be. He rested against those sheets with the King's body against his own, that sheen of sweat near shared between their forms to the point that Sebastian was hardly concerned with that wetness upon his lover's body as the man remained against his chest. His chest rose and fell, his own heart hammering as he simply focused upon steadying that breath.
It was only once he found himself breathing with some vague regularity that the vampire reached around to remove that gift from his lover's frame. He hardly expected that the King might take that moment to remove himself, prompting that soft moan from his lips as the King slid out, only to settle back upon his chest as Sebastian's arms embraced him. His lips gingerly brushed against Dorian's forehead in a small display of affection before those three words he so rarely spoke fell from his lips. He was well aware of that near grin that crossed the King's features in the wake of that sentence and yet, to hear them return made that small simper of satisfaction creep across his own face. There was something utterly blissful of hearing those words fall from Dorian's lips. How he wanted to hear that sentiment for the rest of his infinitely long life. Truly, he could scarcely imagine living without the Monarch now - not after this. He couldn't imagine letting things change between them. That relationship was so desperately cherished. It was the sound of Dorian's voice, however, that drew his attention away from those internal thoughts, his blue eyes fluttering down towards his companion as the King insisted that, next time, he was near required to come with, even if it was only to stalk the hotel room whilst Dorian slept.
"I think I can live with that." He uttered simply, that grin settled upon his features. Though it would have surely been a rather boring business trip, had he attended, Sebastian found he was entirely willing to risk that forty-eight hours of doldrum simply for the sake of sharing that bed with the man. Dorian despised falling asleep alone and Sebastian despised waking up alone. It was best, really, if they simply slept together all the time. His gaze never once left the silver of those eyes that stared up at him, the vampire entirely content in eying those handsome features of the fae King. He enjoyed admiring that scruffiness upon his face, those brilliant slate colored eyes, and that ruffled hair from when his fingers had so disrupted it in the heat of the moment. There was no denying that physical attraction he had to the King. There was no denying how utterly sexy he found the man, even as Dorian was focused simply on that act of breathing. It was, however, the mention of that gift that caused his lips to twitch upwards in a hint of amusement. "I'm glad you like it...there are plenty more where that one came from." Though he was hardly against so enjoying that first gift again...and again...and again, he hardly wanted the King to forget the world that was surely now open to him with that beginning experimentation. There was far more uncharted territory for the pair of men to explore together.
That soft press of Dorian's lips against his cheek prompted a soft chuckle on his lips, even if he was unsure what such a gesture was for. Unfortunately, the vampire hardly had a moment to reply, however, before the sound of ringing overtook that room. His own blue eyes slowly skid towards the floor and yet, the vampire had little intention of seeking after that phone. Dorian's own groan only prompted the vampire to pull the King closer towards him. "I think that's a good idea." He retorted softly, his lips pressing against Dorian's cheek in a small show of tenderness. That phone, thankfully, gave up quickly after those uttered words for only but mere seconds of peace before his own phone began to ring, followed in but mere moments with several others throughout that household. Sebastian eyed it almost wearily, his gaze shifting between that phone and the fae in an effort to decide what he wanted to do only for Dorian to suddenly offer an exclamation. The man shifted within his grasp to grab at that golden device, pressing that answer button and, in turn, immediately the other phones including his own seemed to silence on cue. It was certainly an effective way of getting their attention, that was certain.
He watched the King's facial features as he spoke to the woman on the other end of the phone, the vampire's rather acute hearing entirely capable of picking up but a few words from that muffled voice. Something of pictures and threatening? His own eyebrows furrowed with discontent and yet, thankfully, Dorian hardly seemed inclined to keep that conversation to himself. Instead, he merely rolled over to press that button in order for the conversation to be heard by both men. "Good evening, Emma." The vampire uttered in response to that greeting before falling silent as he listened to that almost worrying story of photographs being taken without Dorian's permission, compromising photographs....in Puerto Rico, of all places. A curious glimpse crossed his features at the sheer idea of such a thing, particularly when he'd never taken Dorian to that tropical place to begin with. Dorian's own insistence that it couldn't be him was near brushed off by the young woman, the mystery of this near prompting the vampire's own curiosity.
His eyebrow rose ever so slightly as his own phone chimed with a text message in the aftermath of that request to send him those photos. He carefully took that offered phone from the King, unlocking it with a swift press of his finger on the home button only for that picture to fill his screen. His head slowly tilted to the side as he eyed the butt of the man in the photo and yet, it hardly took him more than two seconds to recognize exactly who it was. He couldn't help the near critical fashion at which he almost regarded his future father-in-law, that laughter that left the King's lips briefly drew his gaze. "I've never seen him look so...undignified. Now I'm going to see this everytime I look at him." He offered as a way of explanation at that near studious fashion his eyes lingered upon that photo. Dorian's insistence they Puerto Rico was welcome to release that picture caused his own lips to quirk ever so slightly. "Are you sure your father is ready for this scandal? Can you imagine the newspaper headings?" He inquired, and yet, he could hardly keep that chuckle from his lips. He'd certainly never expected for it to be Matteo to be the first amongst their little group to prompt a scandal. Who knew.
