Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

That very notion that Dorian might see to designing a fountain just for those deer that had become his keepsake was quite near surprising for the vampire. Despite his own sizeable wealth, Sebastian had never truly had something designed uniquely for himself. He purchased luxurious products of high quality, he had them made to order, but he had never truly been artistic enough to design his own well...anything really, beyond that music. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly in a glimpse of astonishment before the Englishman saw himself nodding ever so slightly. "I am sure you could make us something magnificent, Ma Biche." He commented softly, altogether aware of his lover's capabilities in this regard. That declaration that he should surely name that deer, however, prompted a roll of those bright blue eyes, the man entirely certain now that Dorian was merely teasing him of that tendency to name those inanimate objects he so favored. That warm chuckle that left the King's lips only confirmed his certainty that his lover was doing just so and yet, even Dorian's assertion that he would be unable to help himself was met with a soft huff from his lips. They both knew Dorian was right.

He shook his head ever so slightly as he watched his lover turn his attention but momentarily back to that water feature before them. The King's hand gingerly brushed across that surface of the pool in those still moments that followed. The sun above painted the sky with those dark hues as day slowly bled into that night that he had been so meticulously planning for. He hardly expected the way the King's fingers rose from the water, droplets tracing paths down his flesh as he recalled those memories so tired with the substance - memories that were surely near and dear to them both if only for the fashion in which each one had brought them ever closer to tonight. It was a curious path they'd taken. What had started as no more than a one-night's stand and a quest for sustenance had turned into a sort of sensual fling the vampire had found himself looking forward to. He had made every effort to squash those feelings that had threatened to rise within him at each meeting, at each declaration of 'next time' and yet, somewhere along the way, what had started into something so simple transformed into something vastly more than Sebastian could have ever anticipated.

It was, however, the mere mention of those memories that caused the vampire's gaze to soften. He moved from that spot to settle at his lover's side, his fingers gingerly caressing the King's flesh as he tilted Dorian's head upward. That kiss he placed upon his lover's lips was altogether sweet and gentle, as too were those words that followed as his forehead bumped lightly against Dorian's own. That gentle brush of affection he was rewarded with was eagerly returned. How he so adored that man! He watched as the King made himself comfortable within his lap, the Englishman content to lean back ever so slightly as his own gaze drifted upwards and towards that darkened sky. His own drifting thoughts, however, were interrupted by Dorian's voice, the very mention of the vampire's own Queen prompted little more than a soft sigh upon his lips. He knew well that she would surely see those photos that had been taken today. How many were already on those social media platforms Arlo had used to discover exactly who he was? How many questions would they surely have to field now of exactly how he was capable of walking in that daylight unharmed? And too what would Her Majesty think of that continual put off of that acceptance of tea? His own head shook slightly at that inquiry if she would be present for tomorrow's show, though Sebastian hardly blamed the woman in the slightest. After all, Chelsea was near London and his own Tatton certainly was not she was old and travel did not do well on old mortal bones.

He was unaware, truly, of those nearly protective thoughts that plagued his lover. After all, the Queen's lack of appearance was a certainty he had accepted quite some time ago. That suggestion to visit her, however, fell readily from his lips, the vampire ever making an effort to please those of what he deemed a higher social standing than himself. It was perhaps an old way of thought, one certainly not befit the Consort of Italy and yet, for so long he had be a mere Baron within her court - the crown and himself certainly held it's own fair share of a past. His gaze but briefly met the silver of Dorian's own as the King admitted he had little interest in accepting this proposal on this particular trip before declaring that, truly, the insistence for tea was but for his own benefit. The sheer suggestion caused his eyebrow to raise nearly dubiously as he eyed the man nestled in his lap and yet, he was content to merely scoff at that idea. "If she wished to see me she could simply summon me back to the palace." He stated quite simply enough. After all, he was still apart of her courts, and surely that held president to her over that title he held on foreign soil - didn't it? Did it? His eyebrows furrowed in consideration of that very fact. Such affairs as royals visiting other royals had been a part of his aristocratic education that was decidedly lacking.

That consideration of this newfound knowledge, however, was temporarily put aside by that simple mention of the press. They were but the only thing that Sebastian hadn't accounted for, that simple mention of them bringing a groan to his lips as he grumbled of their mere existence. That estate was hardly meant for managing the paparazzi. The gates were decorative at best, the fences hardly encompassed the full property. To sneak past them would certainly not be that difficult and yet, the vampire was at least attempting to be optimistic when he declared he'd figure out something. Dorian's assurance that he would simply make them invisible prompted a small snort of amusement from his nose, though even he knew well that was hardly the most favorable way to deal with them. He would have to speak with his staff sometime tomorrow morning before that sun rose but - for tonight, the vampire had far more pressing concerns. After all, it was time for that 'show' of sorts to begin.

That inquiry of whether or not he was cold was met with a small shake of his head, the man certainly unwilling to return to the warmth of that home just yet. His lover's concerns for the pressing darkness, however, prompted those bright blue eyes to turn towards the watch positioned upon his wrist. It hardly took a moment before that minute hand clicked to the '12', the vampire declaring the presence of those lights but mere seconds before they suddenly flickered on with near perfect timing. He was hardly surprised by the fashion Dorian so quickly rose from that bench, all but near mystified by that sudden presence of dim yellow that bathed those gardens in a soft glow. That question was quite near expected, that simper stirring upon his lips. "They absorb the light from the sun and, when it gets dark enough....this happens." He gestured loosely to that near magical light they were surrounded with, those little globs slowly fading in and out as if they danced within that shrubbery. He watched the Monarch for several moments as the man inspected those pebbles upon that pathway that created such intricate little designs as they lit the way to their destination.

It was in those moments that Sebastian saw fit to announce that there was but still one garden left for them to see before, quite unusually requesting for that life to be taken back from his form. He had never once requested such a thing from the King, the man often inclined to enjoy that sensation of living for as long as he possibly might before sleep called to him and he awoke once again as a being of the undead. This was distinctly different and yet, he made his best effort to reassure the King with that small smile upon his features. The quizzical look was quite near ignored and yet, that question on whether or not he was certain prompted him to nod quite firmly. "It's all right." He quite easily reassured his boyfriend of those fears that the sudden lack of life might be near..unpleasant and yet, Sebastian was quite certain it would be worth it. He rose at that small gesture and yet, he hardly anticipated that soft kiss he was greeted with. Sebastian all too willingly returned it, his hands settling on Dorian's waist before that sensation so overcame him. That tug was gentle and yet, it was wholly distinct in a way that Sebastian would never forget. This one hardly hurt, not as much as the last time he had died near two hundred years ago. The simple fact that he knew what was on the other side helped still that panic and yet, his heart was near keen to flutter in some desperate attempt to hold onto that life. He could feel the way it left his limbs, the way his body seemed to still as more and more of it fled his system. That heart beat slowed into something far slower and steadier and soon enough, that familiar hunger began to creep in. He certainly hadn't anticipated that.

A small frown crossed his features as he considered his current state of being, his fingers near flexing in some effort to get that blood flowing back to those areas he would surely need them. He would have to eat before the night was over, particularly considering the sheer amount of power he intended to utilize in the next hour. That inquiry of if he was well drew his gaze upwards towards the fae, his head bobbing quite certainly. "Oh, yes, I'm fine, mon amour." It was all he spoke of that 'obscure' behavior the King had so effortlessly picked up on. After all, quite soon all of those questions would have answers. Instead, Sebastian quite readily picked up on that inquiry of the other garden. "Yes, I think we're ready now." He commented with a soft chuckle, his head reaching out to gingerly interlace with his lover's own - his flesh certainly cold and most certainly dead. He led the King at a rather leisurely pace away from those fountains that still bubbled and gurgled, that pathway moving back towards the house and those gardens that ran closer towards that large manor. He paused in front of one of those ropes that expanded across the pathway, blocking that garden from the public. A near mischievous glance crossed his features as he ducked under it, gesturing for the King to follow him.

The pathway was quite near unassuming at first, those brightly colored rocks still leading the way forward before, quite slowly, those flowers began to line the pathway. They started with near brilliant shades of white that seemed to glow beneath the moonlight above. Adminst those brilliant ivories were bright, vibrant blues and deep shades of black, flowers with hearts dark as coal and petals tipped in purples and pinks. There were heart shaped flowers dangling from near by trees and near iridescent purples leaves, each and every live thing in that garden so perfectly picked for how it might look under that moonlight. The pathway slowly began to darken as they moved deeper into that garden, the walkway opening up to a field that held within it a rather large gazebo, the top a wire mesh so that the stars were still visible from within it. That creeping ivy round down those ivory pillars and in the center of it all was that very object that he had quite near struggled to see completed in time - that hand made crystal clear piano.

The edge of it was rimmed with small flickering tea candles, providing Sebastian with just the light he required to let that musical instrument fall beneath his control. His affinity so readily embraced it, turning that magnificent piece into something more. Stars flickered and danced across it's surface, several small ones shooting across the sky before exploding in little pinpricks of light that twisted and conformed into constellations. In that singular moment, that piano was very much near alive. It was hardly the only thing he had prepared for, however. At the bottom of the piano there rested a singular white canvas leaning against it's leg, one quite clearly waiting for use in the fashion they often used so many others within that empty ball room in that busy metropolis. Those far darker blue eyes shifted towards his lover in that moment as he gestured ever so slightly at that scene before them. "Shall we?" He inquired, his voice more akin to a whisper in that delicate moment.
