Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we all fall down like toy soldiers

He was looking forward to this, to pulling her into his arms and never letting her go. So when he walked into her apartment, sneaking into the depths he just wanted to watch her for a bit. She is radiance and light and he is amazed that she hasn't let what touched them affect her outlook on life. He marveled at that strength of her and it was the only thing that kept him just watching her before speaking.

A grin came across his lips when she turned around, the couch cushion falling from her hands to crash against the floor. He knew the lengths it took for Dav to get her an apartment by herself, almost on the other side of the city. He didn't like it, didn't like that she was too sweet in a city that may not be so kind to her. He wished Dav had bought the building.

When she turns it is like he sees the entire world in a single glance, all the love she had for him burst forth in a single moment. He steps further into the room, running a hand through his dark locks, it is at that moment that she is moving forward and throwing herself into his arms. He is pulling her into his arms, bracing himself for impact and tucking her against his chest and holding her as if he wouldn't do it again.

"Ellie! Light of my life" He moves further into the room and unceremoniously dumps her on the couch as her words ring out and he is laughing.

"I went to the beach. I've always wanted to see Virginia..." He says, it is joking and light hearted because he didn't want to dampen their reunion with talk of why he left.

"It doesn't matter, I'm back for good. Do you even know how to use those?" He asks, pointing to the pots and pans in the kitchen. They lay in haphazard piles and it was almost enough to make him cringe because he could barely boil water.
