Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Vhalla was content to sip on that alcohol, finishing the first glass quickly, pouring herself another and topping of Sebastian's. Though she had come here in a rage, debating on whether she wanted to murder this undead man or not, she found that she was content; that anger that so constantly swirled in her abdomen gone. At least for a little while. His response to her has a pleased smile adorning her lips, whether the man meant his statement as a joke or not, she was amused nonetheless. Perhaps drunk Sebastian could be fun. "As much as I'd like to see you doubly wasted it, I'd like to keep my blood to myself; thanks," she says a bit dryly though there is humor coating those lyrics.
It's then that she insists that in no way this made them friends and Sebastian's response has her hesitating. Was he being... petty? From herself she could expect but from the dignified man sitting across from her it was unexpected to say the least. Frowning at him, she isn't certain if he's joking or not, so she takes a drink of the bourbon. "Fine... we can be acquaintances that share liquor with each other," she remarks, trivial enough not to use the term friend. For knowing each other very briefly, she found herself surprised that Sebastian already knew he could get her to do quite a lot of things with the payment being alcohol. Sighing deeply, she shrugs the thought away. Vhal knew she was an easily read person, she didn't cover that anger of hers up very well.
She's pleased when she requests a story and he obliges, telling her how Dorian and him met. Brows raised in surprise, she winces a bit as he mentions the arson. Of course, he was there. It was an accident, truly. She just happened to lose control whilst being drunk. Setting the glass down, she puts a hand over her face as he finishes the story. "Ah, well â€" I was definitely here when that happened," she cringes, "That was, um... me. It was an accident, I swear, I would never intentionally set a building on fire," she swallows the embarrassment that so threatens to engulf her.
Pushing it quickly away, she picks that glass up and downs the rest of the liquid, pouring herself another, feeling the effects of the alcohol already. She had burned down a building because she was angry and drunk, maybe she shouldn't be drinking, and yet, here she is, exchanging stories with Sebastian who she wanted to murder only hours before. Heaving another sigh, she shakes her head, "You don't peg me for the settling down type," she mentions casually, raising that delicious bourbon to her lips, relishing in the feel of the buzz that dances behind her eyes. The alcohol makes her words loose and she conveys much more in her next set of words than she normally would have, "I'm glad you found each other either way. Dorian... Dorian is light and everything good in this world, I'm lucky to have met him," she murmurs quietly at the admission.
Perhaps she would regret it later, showing that bit of vulnerability to Sebastian, and yet she's satisfied, peaceful for the moment. Carefully setting the glass back down on the table, she allows those icy eyes to travel back to the vampire, regarding him for the first time as a person rather than a creature of the underworld. Eye lids grow heavy with the liquor that courses through her veins and she stifles a yawn, leaning her head back on the chair, "I'm tired, Sebastian," she mutters quietly, eyes falling close for a moment. "I just... want to rest my eyes for a few minutes," she replies, that weariness so dragging at her. "We can be friends, if you really want to, just don't bite me anymore," her voice fades as she can feel that sleep tug her under.
