Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The woman's words were barely acknowledged as I strode back into my home, determined to find the source of this erratic beeping in all it's glory, the sound doing a rather marvellous job of assaulting each of my senses in turn, the rather unfortunate side effect of whichever one of my mental conditions seemed to afflict me today being that my attention span never was...entirely....foolproof and I- where is that noise coming from!? Serika's assertion that she had not, in fact, worked for my company in several years seemed to manage to permeate the distraction of my mind- a slight frowning managing to crease my ever-handsome features.

"I don't recall ever firing you, so to my knowledge you still work for me- unless you would like to resign?"

I paused mid-way through my attempts to rummage within a pile of paper work I had neither looked at nor done anything with save for stack it in a symmetrically pleasing pile that accented the diing room table. Alright, maybe I never was the best CEO when it came to organisation and yet I advanced my fathers company from millions into billions upon my take over, I did what I was supposed to do, what had been expected of me and truly I am entirely sure the vast majority of my board of directors are entirely content to have me act as a rather pretty figure-head rather then actually attend any office meetings. In fact I am rather sure half of my investors seem to feel I must have contracted some sort of terrible venereal disease considering I had taken 'sick leave' for nearly six months and yet almost dying really does take rather a long time to get over- not to mention being rather unwillingly turned into this...thing Kat seemed to feel that I was, rather content really, that Serika had not gone tearing from the apartment- the woman seeing fit to wander in only moments later, the blue gold of my gaze acknowledging with pleasure the fact that she removed her shoes.

"Thank you."

The words were uttered distractedly as I moved to stride away from the pile of paperwork and towards my bedroom once more, almost entirely assured the sound was coming from here. Where was Kat when you needed her? This was by far the most effort I had ever put into any hunt yet and the woman was damn well missing it. The volume almost seemed to increase as Serika saw fit to mention my lack of ability to turn off the aforementioned alarms, one hand reaching up to run my fingers back through my hair, scratching absentmindedly at the back of my neck.

"To be honest I didn't know I had house alarms."

Much less how I had managed to set them off. I've lived her for months without managing to set them off before- why now?

"I have no idea where the button to turn it off his- hold on, I think I have a phone number for my insurance company though I don't recall anything about alarms....."
