Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Just as the saying "a great hunter â€" or huntress in this case â€" doesn't waste time with rabbits" would imply, Vitani was hardly willing or patient enough to be bothered with a majority of the men that would usually manage to scrounge up enough courage to approach her on those nights where she would wear those fitted dresses or whatever attire might be needed for the occasion. It just so happened to be that tonight, there was hardly a need for the fae woman to wade through a line of less than qualities men that occupied The Voodoo Room. How fortunate for her that little effort had been required of her to find what she was looking for. Whether or not it had been Ludovino's original preference to make his way over to the fae woman was in that particularly crowded bar was hardly anything in need of careful consideration. In the end, all that truly mattered was that the Italian man had been, unbeknownst to him of course, had fallen for those charms she so easily called upon and in turn wound up caught within Vitani's smooth coils. It was only a matter of time before she would try and see just how he might be of the most use to her, if perhaps he were only good enough for that temporary companionship she would be more than content to welcome him as, or if just maybe he might accept a more long-term offer she found herself interested in extending to him. Ah, but when it came to this part of her metaphorical chess game, the fae woman was a dangerously patient creature willing to go as slowly â€" and sultrily â€" as Ludovino might subconsciously reveal was his more comfortable tempo. After all, she would certainly hate to frighten the man out of her grasp when he might just prove to be more valuable to her than even he was aware. She could see in the way that he practically moved in flawless and fluid time with her, hardly giving her any resistance as she would continue to play upon those more or less primal male tendencies she was rather well-versed in pulling the strings just so, that he was so very close to being where it was that she would want him. How it pleased the fae woman, seeing the way that earthen hued eyes would seem to find it almost impossible to divert from those glittering depths of pale peridot beneath perfectly dressed black lashes, how he would move just a little quicker towards her as she settled there easily into place on that white leather couch beside the ignited firepit so that he could once again be closer to the fae woman, it was almost too easy. Not that she had any quarrels against just how delightfully willing and pliable Ludovino was in this moment as she relentlessly continued to play upon those ever-abundant feminine charms and her undeniable beauty, Vitani being... easy to please when it came to the ever-varying difficulty of each and every male that she might take temporary interest in. Some nights, she would find herself thoroughly delighted in a man who might give her a little more of a challenge as he asked her those ever-cautious questions like where it was she was from and what it was she intended for the outcome of their encounter. Oh, there'd been a handful of encounters where she'd nearly felt like a criminal under scrutiny by an officer, but such hard-to-win men were often those most rewarding. And to watch them become crestfallen when they would realize she was hardly in it "for the long haul"... those were some of the sweetest moments as she would be given the wicked pleasure of watching a heart shatter beneath her expensive designer stilettos. Then, there were those nights where her quarry came to her nearly begging to be taken and broken, and she hardly had it in her to deny those borderline desperate men â€" so long as they had everything it was that she herself was after of course. She was the furthest thing from the type to be considered a charitable being. Heavens no, if the price was much too high for the man applying for the chance to win her for the evening, then she would simply decline. And she would often take delight in breaking them just as quickly as she would those more careful individuals. Ah, it is almost a shame that something so beautiful could be so cruel and cold. Some of the most glorious of roses had the most wicked and sharp of thorns, after all. It just so happened that Vitani was particularly talented at concealing them until those fingers would dare to try and pluck her from that bushel she was content to remain on. How lucky for Ludovino though that she hardly had intentions of being so wicked to him, though her reasons for being so "kind" were hardly known, at least until she decided that she might see fit to share them. For now, though, she was satisfied to hide such truths from even the most observant of souls and the entirety of the world. At the mention of only one of her intentions for the Italian man, a smirk finds those lips of his as he ushers an almost contemplative "hmm" before he leans in ever closer, that coy smile of the fae woman's only growing at his boldness. She reached up with a single slender hand to brush her fingertips gently along the man's jawline, soft skin just barely kissing the skin beneath his ear before they trails ever-flowing towards his chin as pale peridot eyes flicker down to his lips less than a breath away before meeting dark earthen eyes with that sultry look, blinking black lashes over them slowly."I am just a single woman in this mansion all alone, lover. Safety is very important. And who better than those who hunt?", she answers him with lilted words a soft whispers as though she were telling him a dark little secret. Almost disappointed that he moves away then, a rich chuckle falling from his lips as he implied that he was teasing, Vitani lifting an arched brow as he mentions a list for his. She would need to see if perhaps she might be able to convince the man to divulge a little more detail on that small detail soon enough. If she was going to restore her security detail to even half the glory she'd had in Bora Bora, she would need to find a few more men to work alongside Ludovino. Especially when the fae woman had intentions on building this little snare of hers, deciding to settle here in this quaint city for a while yet. She would start with the Italian man, though, and it was certainly a pleasing place to do so. His next string of words have the fae woman giving him a sultry smile now, green gaze glittering."I would certainly hope so", she purrs smoothly to him before Raja interrupts them with her interest in the dark hunter's heat signature, wrapping those coils around the man in a way not too unlike Vitani figuratively was, her thoughts venturing to more... bedside matters, though it is then that Ludovino makes a remark on the countless stars overhead. While they were beautiful indeed, she hardly cared much them like others did when that conceit of hers deemed the fae woman infinitely more beautiful and much more tangible to men - certain men, that is - that those burning lights hung in the heavens. She was content to muse Ludovino though, pressing against the man as her slender frame reveled in his warmth against the chill of the night that only seemed to intensify as the minutes went by. They sit there before the flames of the fireplace for a time with their eyes lifted to the night sky before, the fae woman becoming ever bolder as she allows for her fingertips to brush against the man's thigh and up towards those more sensitive places. Yes, she was more than ready to see what else Ludovino could indulge her in. Like fine wine, she wanted to taste him and savor every little sip. Shivering, her voice like silk ushers quietly between them and he seems to know exactly what she was suggesting. He hardly hesitates or hangs on her last word before he slips strong arms beneath her, lifting her up as her more petite frame is pressed against his toned core. Reflexively and with a melodic note of laughter, she wraps her arms around the Italian man's neck as he gives her a grin, accented words encouraging that sultry smile on pink lips."Mi viziate (you spoil me)", she whispers into his ear then as he carries her inside, her breath brushing softly against his skin. Guiding him through the way they'd come and down a hallway on the other side of her mansion, he brings them through the threshold of the master bedroom decorated in silver and white, a California King bed to one wide of the spacious rooms and a fireplace on the opposite wall, bright and warm flames crackling within as the only source of ligh, the mostly drawn curtains blockong out what little sterling light the moon would pour down over the city that would filter through those fine linens. Hardly willing to wait for him to lay her down on that bed accented by many pillows, she shifts in his arms and allows for her lips to kiss the bare skin of his neck. Her hand once locked with the other around and behind his neck slides up into his curls then as she deepens those kisses before nipping the skin there lightly as if to let the man know without words just what it was she was craving in this moment, her desire for him intensifying with each brush of her lips. The fae woman continues to enjoy the taste of him, his delicious scent that wraps around her senses as she waited for Ludovino to show her that he understood exactly what should come next. |
