Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Dead eyes so scan the two women, Lise successfully pinning the girl to the wall before James is grasping at that power as it snakes into the mind of Hannah. The fear is instant as she immobilizes, her body stiffening, her skin paling as she so gasps for air. The cry of the girl merely has Lise covering her mouth, the undead woman responding in turn with her own cruel words. Expressionless, he merely increases that power until the girl is frozen in fear, unable to take her eyes off Lise as she descends on her neck, sinking those fangs into supple flesh. The sound has James grimacing, he never truly had gotten used to the sound of her feeding, it was unnatural and yet, in this case, he would look away. Lise served a purpose.
Shrugging, it hardly takes the woman long to finish, the body hitting the ground with a dull thud. Hands are wiping at Lise's mouth, lingering disgust forming around his lips as he regards the vampire. "When have we ever spared someone?" He asks rhetorically, increasing that power by ten fold. Though the woman was unconscious, those nightmares could still haunt her and that's what they did, the woman so entirely panicked that her heart simply... gave out. Of course, she could have resuscitated if she was found in the next few minutes, though James hardly thought that was going to happen in any sense. Clasping his hands behind his back, those eyes linger on the dead body beneath them, Lise's impatient notes so dancing in his ears.
Annoyance flickers across his features for the briefest of moments as the woman simply strolls past him and down that alley finding the car they brought here. Turning, he follows her silently only to find her leaning against that car waiting with arms folded. Her question has James arching his brows at her, "No, I've had enough for tonight. I have some business to take care of," he states casually as he walks around that vehicle and sliding into those leather seats. He hardly waits for Lise as the engine roars to life, yet, she's quick to hop into the seat next to him. He hardly says another word as he throws the car into drive and they are sent careening quickly down the street, heading back to the mansion.
