Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

But if this is where I belong, I won't satisfy

"When will this be over," Navi murmured to herself careful not to let others hear her, yet still enough where she felt satisfied by complaining aloud. She didn't understand why anyone would put themselves in a position to reveal their past to a group of acquaintances. It just baffled her that people could trust others so easily. "How naïve." she thought inwardly. Yet she supposed she couldn't be too harsh due solely to the fact she had put some trust into Andras, who was just an acquaintance when they had met. The conversation slowly dragged on as she listened to Andras explain the drastic weather conditions Somnia had. Her mind bubbled with excitement as she thought about retreating into the forest where thick snowfall would mute any sound, where she could be at peace.

She noticed as he finished responding to Troy's explanation, or whatever you could call it, his eyes met with Navi's. Glancing away quickly, she wasn't ready to interact with Andras. Not yet, at least. However, soon enough, the sharing fell upon Andras. Navi's ears perked up as he began to tell them his tale. It wasn't the first time Navi had heard about dark magic, or dark faeries, but she was truly surprised that the Shadow Court was filled with them a long time ago. "I suppose Shadow court would be a fitting name though." she thought with a logical approach. It made sense however, by how powerful of an aura that resided in Andras' magic was that he was blessed by both dark magic and light. How his parents story was sensical, two opposite forces that attracted. Little did Andras know, Navi sensed that he would surpass many, being honored by the yin and yang forces that resided inside of him. However, if he chose to bear both sides of the same coin, that was his own fate to manage.

It was interesting to hear how early in his life he had became allies with Dorian. How as well, his journey home led him only to discover the slaughter of his parents. How he had frenzied into a state of panic, anger, and despair, leading him to the world they all were casually sitting in. Navi was impressed by how composed he presented himself, recalling such a gruesome past. She knew that Andras would be the one she would share her powers with, when the time came. He was the one she had decided to put faith in. As he wrapped up the conversation, letting them know that was a brief introduction into his past, she grew more interested in understanding what exactly led him to be the man he was today. Everyone proceeded to stand in unison after Andras raised himself to stand. Navi shot up, eager to leave the circle that led them all to share their past. She watched as Troy made eye contact with her, stating that it was a pleasure to meet her and how he hoped to see her again. "Farewell," she nodded softly as she listened to Troy ask Dorian if he wanted to walk back with him. Taking a jab at Navi, with promising Dorian there would be no pushing. Her eyes narrowed into crescent shaped moons at the comment. She wanted to retort that the push would provide faster travel, but she didn't want to deal with the consequence of the statement.

As she watched Troy and Dorian depart she turned to Andras. "I'm assuming we have to go back to Sacro for a bit? Let's get it over with," she sighed as they turned to exit the lodge.
