Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian could so hardly help that soft chuckle that rose to his lips in the wake of Sebastian's assurance that Arlo was 'quite the modern man', the Fae King hardly able to argue with such a statement in any sense. Arlo was quite unlike any being Dorian had ever met and yet, even despite the vampires bizarre behaviour at the beginning of the evening, once those nerves had settled, the Monarch had found the fellow to be rather personable if only because he quite suspected that Arlo had been entirely himself. As odd and unusual and decidedly energetic as Dorian suspected he always was. It was a difficult thing, when so dining with others, to encourage them to simply be as they would were this any other dinner. A meal or an event shared with royalty so had a habit of forcing people to believe they needed to behave in a certain way- and perhaps they did, to some extent. After all, a certain level of manners and etiquette was expected and yet more often than not people became so decidedly stressed over his and Sebastian's own opinion of them that they tended to become dull company. The sort of company that said what they believed Sebastian and himself wanted to hear. Arlo, Dorian suspected, suffered none of these conflictions. Nor, he suspected, did Abigail. The young woman as vibrant as her companion had been and equally as content to tell him just what she thought of anything he had to say. How glorious it was to meet a pair with opinions of their own! A pair willing to engage Sebastian and himself as if they were any other people. It was refreshing and pleasant in every sense of the word.

"I should like to spend more time with them both. I hope they will enjoy Italy when they come for the wedding. Do you know, I am quite sure I hardly know a pair more opposite in some ways and yet whom suit each other nearly so well as they do?"

He offered the comment simply as that door shut behind him. The Monarch wholly unaware of those threads of fate his lover had perhaps already seen in regards to just how well that pair was truly suited to one another. Dorian reached to softly tug that tie from his lovers neck, sliding that smooth fabric from him to place it upon the dresser before he stepped from his shoes and begun to work on removing his own shirt. It was amusing truly. Arlo every bit of bold and reckless impulsiveness that Abby was not while the woman herself held a sweetness and clarity of thought and more cautious nature that Arlo himself lacked. Both of them, however, seemed to be decidedly energetic people and terribly good natured all at once. Still, Dorian could so hardly help that query that fell from his lips in regard to just what the pair of men had been discussing at the other end of the table, that near impish look finding his features as he so inclined after that gossip he so rarely ever entertained and yet- Sebastian's response was hardly unanticipated. Dorian having suspected quite exactly that Abigail had been the focus of their conversation, that grin finding his lips once more as Sebastian assured him of Arlo's excitement in showing off that woman at his side. Dorian chuckling softly again. Those accented words leaving his lips once more.

"I suppose you can hardly blame him. She is a very lovely girl. I suspect the loveliest he has ever had escort him. I am also quite certain that your opinion means a great deal to him, love."

That simper so found his lips once more in the wake of that very suggestion the Monarch so suspected Sebastian himself may not yet have come to truly realise. Perhaps Arlo was the veritable top of that metaphorical food chain and yet Dorian had so hardly needed to inquire as to which of the pair was older nor which of the vampires was the more...dominant being perhaps. Even if he hardly favoured the use of such a word as that. Rather, he simply suspected that the younger vampire he so desired the elders approval on some level. Dorian quite inclined to find it near endearing. His own shirt was easily discarded in those moments that followed, the Fae King left within his pants alone as he strode back across that room to easily wrap his arms about his lovers waist, that simple want for closeness, it seemed, tugging potently at him that evening as his lips found that sensitive skin of Sebastian's neck. How he adored those sounds he might coax from the man! No matter how soft they might be. Dorian's own words a near warm whisper against that skin before his head so came to rest on his lovers shoulder. Sebastian, it seemed, inclined to agree on Arlo's rather lacking ability in courting that poor girl. Dorian's gaze widening slightly at that assurance the other vampire had tripped on a kerb on his way over before promptly forgetting to tell the girl how lovely she looked. Heavens! It was a wonder the pair had managed to get as far as they had! Dorian's own eyes rolling slightly in response to that very tale.

"I have never, in all my life, known a man who forgot to tell his companion off her beauty. Does the poor fellow even know she is a virgin? I quite think that your going to have to- what on earth is a Minger?"

That amusement so readily found his features once more, Dorian leaning but slightly away to eye his companion then in a clear curiosity at the use of that singular British phrase. Sebastian so having a habit of becoming distinctly more British in those moments or arousal or indeed- after he had enjoyed several wines. That near colloquial expression thoroughly lost on the Fae as his lips pressed a final time to Sebastian's jaw in that stolen kiss before Dorian proceeded to tumble back rather ungracefully onto their bed. How splendid those sheets! His own silver gaze resting on his fiance still as he moved to prop himself up upon his elbows, Dorian inclined to enjoy the sight of his lovers toned figure as Sebastian slid that shirt from himself, his pants followed a moment later. The Monarch's own thoughts content to linger on the vampire's promise to show him exactly what those backstreet boys had been doing. Dorian rather assured that near anticipatory flutter of his heart so eagerly gave away those desires, his thoughts distracted only by those offered words that Arlo sought to ask Abigail's permission to court her formally this very evening.

"I told her that he fancied her, I am not quite assured she believed me. I hope she has the sense to say yes, although I fear she might be a little....more excitable than normal this evening. Do you know she had never had wine before? The wine we served at dinner was the first she had ever had in all her life. I fear she might have had perhaps a touch too much. Charles refilled her glass quite before I could stop him."

Surely she had not had enough to so effect her judgement in any real sense and yet still, Dorian rather hoped any state of inebriation on the woman would not ruin Arlo's own plans for the evening or taint that moment for the girl herself. Next time he would be assured to limit her to only one glass until she became more accustomed to the taste. That return of Sebastian to himself readily saw the monarch shift as the man leaned over him, his lips all-too eagerly meeting that kiss as one hand lifted to run through his lovers hair. Dorian readily seeking that closeness once more before that curiosity seemed to find him again, his fiance's name upon his lips as he leaned but slightly away, his hips shifting easily to assist his lover in so removing those pants from his own figure as he did. That query on taste readily finding him then. After all, the Monarch had, perhaps, always been eternally bold in his questioning of those more vampiric aspects of his lovers nature. His desire to understand so readily prompting a myriad of questions that Sebastian was ever patient in answering. Dorian hardly having considered the taste of individuals until that very moment nor the idea that one being might taste one way to one vampire and entirely different to another. That supposed chocolate taste of Sebastian himself a clear matter of curiosity to him, even as that chuckle so left the man's lips. Dorian momentarily thoughtful in the wake of that response, his eyes rolling playful at that insistence he surely tasted off creme brulee

"I suppose I never did consider that beings might taste different to different vampires- although I am quite pleased to know that I might taste so satisfying. Creme Brulee is a decidedly wonderful taste."

He so hardly anticipated the manner in which Sebastian lent so playfully down, those sharpened fangs nipping at his flesh, the simple touch of those teeth so having a habit of drawing that soft sound of pleasure from within the back of his throat. His very heart so skipping a beat in simple anticipation of that bite. Dorian near groaning as Sebastian lent away. Those words nothing short of playful.

"You know how I adore it when you do that, wretched thing you are sometimes."

That warm grin so continued to dance upon his lips before that sudden query as to just why Abigail had so proceeded to shout Sebastian's name at dinner prompted that chuckle from the Monarch once more, his form collapsing back onto that bed entirely as his arms folded behind his head.

"We were discussing Arlo. I asked her how long she had been dating him and she became terribly flustered at the idea before attempting to tell me she was not dating him at all. I could tell she fancied him so I suggested she gave him a chance all the same if only because he was quite good looking and had a very nice butt. She told me in no uncertain terms that I was not to look because I had you to look at and in doing so proceed to shout your name."

That chuckle hummed readily from within him once more, his silver gaze held upon his lover still as he continued.

"It was something of a ploy on my part I will admit and yet I suggested to her that if she took such offense at my looking then it surely provided her with the answer as to her feelings on Arlo. The poor thing started blushing all over again at that realization. Although you must admit- your friend does have a nice butt. You might need to turn around I fear, so I can see yours again."

One eye lifted near teasingly upward then. Dorian distinctly assured that no ones behind was near so pleasing as Sebastian's own and yet he saw little harm in so teasing his lover all the same, the Monarch so waiting for Sebastian to turn then. That sound of consideration stirring within his throat for several long seconds.

"I do suppose yours is nicer."

He offered at last. As if such a decision had taken a terribly great deal of consideration, that impish grin dancing upon his features still as he offered that ready tease, dorian leaning abruptly upward once more to find his lovers lips again, that singular kiss holding within it every bit of affection and adoration and love he held for that man he so intended to marry in those few short weeks. Dorian leaning slightly back from Sebastian once more, his gaze so finding the blue of the man's own.

"I know we had never spoken of children or families before tonight and indeed I think it will be quite some time before I should like to entertain that idea but- I am not at all displeased at the idea of having such things with you, one day, if we should both decide it. There is no other I would sooner have a family with then you."

Sebastian so surely knew these things already and yet, Dorian so saw little harm in offering them one more all the same, those words nothing short of the truth in every sense. That simple desire for that closeness still tugging potently within him then as he so continued to regard his fiance.

"Arlo was not so entirely correct in all he said though. I quite suspect that if I can give you life then I can give life to all of you and that you, in turn, would be capable creating that life too. I think you would be capable of fathering children, with my assistance, if we ever desire such things one day. My power would allow for that. Although, I think I am still inclined to be selfish with you for quite some time yet Mon Cher. I think too that you promised to tell me of these Backstreet Boys."
