Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

TRYING NOT TO WASTE MY TIME

Maybe he had found a soft spot for puppy, because he too had been essentially abandoned. Maybe deep down, he felt a comradely with this little puppy, even if he didn't quite know it. But he feels a protectiveness over the little thing. Benjamin had found her alone and lost in the warehouse district, and he would be damned if anyone were to lay a single finger on the little pup. She was under his protection now and Benji, the young man with a firestorm in his eyes, would not have it any other way.

"I think people like to blame luck so they don't have to take responsibility," he says, thinking back, if only briefly, to the amount of times his moment would say what bad luck they were having when she couldn't pay the rent, the electric, or the water. Or what bad luck it was when Benji would have to walk to school because he missed his bus and his mom was too loaded to drive him. Or what bad luck it was when he got taken away from her. Benjamin likes what Malia says, about taking the blame on herself for her choices, not everyone was brave enough to admit that. He entirely misses her confusion as whether luck was a person. And, perhaps that is a blessing in and of itself. Benji was finding his explanation skills were certainly laking with Malia.

Despite her warning of his arms falling off, Benjamin doesn't miss the way she says it in a tone of jesting. She even offers to hold the little pup, well if he was she would that is. He smiles in return to her offering (well, her sort of offering) and simply readjusts the way he is holding her to give his arms any break they could.

Honestly, if the young man could read this girl's mind, he would be entirely lost at what to think. How pets would be offensive to her (to Benjamin, the human, pets were a perfectly normal part of someone's life, though he also didn't believe in were coyotes.) He would no doubt blush when she would think that it was pretty cute, his relationship with his new hound (or rather, hound in training.) But he cant read minds and so Benjamin thinks nothing of these sorts of things.

A breath of laughter escapes his lungs in a puff of air in response to the woman and her teasing glances. "Well, I don't think that show will be happening any time soon, so feel free to save your money," he says, wrinkling his own nose right back at her.

Benji would have felt free to continue their conversation, as smooth as it was going, but fate had a different idea in mind for the pair it would seem today. He stares up at her with amber eyes wide, looking for any sort of an explanation. He stands up an the puppy comes to rest beside him, nearly sitting on his sneakers. "Yeah, I'm okay, what was that? A power, what do you mean a power?" The plain human is in of course shock, having never experienced something like this before, never having even dreamed he would have an experience like this in his life. He looks down at his dog when Malia mentions her before snapping right back to the girl's earthen stare. "An arrow? Someone was trying to hit me with an arrow?" He practically shouts and starts looking around before remembering that they had just teleported through thin air. "What is going on?"
