Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

They had started on slightly shaky footing, but, though she had seemed a bit stand offish at first, Ian was certain that she was already warming to him. How couldn't she? He was a very likeable person. Perhaps a bit forward once he had decided that he knew someone well enough, but he was a fun guy to be around and he was prepared to show that to her as soon as she was settled in. He grasped her hand firmly, grinning enough to flash his teeth, quite the opposite to her reluctant one.

"Awesome. Hey, maybe one day you'll only have to pay in cake." A few more months and his parents would begin to send money, once he had learnt his lesson to their standards. But so far, everything seemed to be working out in his favour and he could go back to doing whatever he wanted without a care in the world. And at least this time, he'd have someone else to do it with him.

He was halfway to the door when he heard his name and turned on his heel swiftly, brows raised in question. Pausing, he wrinkled his nose, mulling over the idea as he reached up to scratch the back of his neck, shoulders rolling in a lazy shrug. "Well, it's up to you really. If you really want all those rules, that's cool, but, it's your house now too so, you're kinda free to do what you want." They were becoming quite the definition of an odd couple, she had such stringent rules and ideas, plans and methods that were so far removed from the carefree, lackadaisical way in which he chose to run his life.

Flashing her another warm smile he snorted quietly, "You don't need to keep out of my way. If anything, I should keep out of yours. So, y'know, tell me if I'm overstepping at any point." He had a habit of not caring about personal space, nor privacy when it came to a lot of things, but this girl was enigmatic and there was a hint of danger to her, he couldn't quite put his finger on it, nor would he really let it put him off. But his instincts told him to tread lightly, his normal antics weren't likely to be favourable to her.

Though it was likely to be annoying, he still followed her, out into the warm sunlight â€" his eyes fell shut briefly as he turned his face upwards. Warming himself briefly before heading down the drive towards Avi and her bike. An arm outstretched, Ian reached for one of the bags, "You want a hand?" Perhaps he was trying too hard to impress, but there was something about the girl that made him want to appeal to her, she seemed vulnerable and dangerous at the same time, wise and a little bit uncertain â€" there were secrets behind those moody storm grey eyes that Ian couldn't even begin to fathom. There was something unusual that made him drawn to her, whether it was out of some dumbfounded desire to protect her, or just the enigma wrapped up in a mystery, which seemed to be the best way to describe her.
