Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we all fall down like toy soldiers

If I weren't able to roll with the punches I probably would have been dead ten or a hundred times over at this point. Growing up where I did, one wrong step could have cost you your life. I had had many of those moments and I guess it's a testament to my character that I was still walking around and breathing. Or it was just my good looks, but I will still chalk it up to my survival skills, which totally includes hiding behind big brother if need be. I am totally not afraid to admit that, not even one bit, not when he's got more power than I could ever dream of. So yeah, I have no problem in pointing him in the direction I needed.

There was something calming about drawing, but I knew the chill in the air was finally getting to me. There was a slight shiver to my body that I ignored as I drew the tiger in, down to her violet eyes. She presses against me and I don't find it uncomfortable in the least and maybe that should have worried me a bit but for some reason it didn't. The warmth that radiated off my back was welcome and when her head ran over my shoulder I could only grin, the corners of my lips pulling up in a way that I knew Church does when he's pleased. Her noise makes me smile because I'm pretty sure she's happy that my drawing included her likeness. In fact, it was something I loved about the piece. There is a vibration to his body then, the purr that comes from her is enough to cause me to look over my shoulder at her. "I'm Finley by the way. Finn to everyone else," I was trying to find something to talk about, to fill the silence around us. I was never one to be quiet.

When she rose and beckoned him forward I am placing my things back into my bag and slinging it over my shoulder and climbing upwards to follow her. Because yes, that's what normal people did, followed huge giant cats through the dawn alone. I wasn't normal though, so she was in luck, who else would be so stupidâ€"or so smartâ€"to do so?

"You know, I kind of feel like Jasmine in this moment," I laugh at that, obviously Jasmine was female but she also walked around with a tiger. My lips lift in a grin, down towards the female. I wondered for the first time where we were going, "You aren't going to lead me away and kill me right?" Isn't that what usually happened? The stupid, naïve main character led to an untimely death.
