Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes [Sebastian]

She so had a habit of...watching. It could hardly be called stalking as there was no intent of prey or malevolence in her tonight. Little Anna-Marie had called upon her doll earlier in the night and fed enough to stave off any immediate hunger pains so she could concentrate better. When Anna desired something she was quite capable at attempting to change her behavior. Her Sebastian disliked her hunting around him so she tried her best to make sure she wasn't hungry when she visited him anymore. She had tried his way of only taking from the willing but that was difficult and Damon's assurance of what Sebastian didn't know wouldn't hurt him aided the child vampire in simply keeping her hunting quiet from Sebastian.

Sebastian had been gone for so long that irritation had snuck into her bones. That whirlwind of events hardly affording the time for Anna to be given that phone and much less be taught how to use it in order to keep in contact with Sebastian. How a screen could help was debatable but it had been an option to try to keep the little vampire from the tantrums she was capable of. It was hard to say why Anna so desired Sebastian's company since finding him. There was that sliver of connection having created him but it was hardly a magnet. Something just kept itching at the back of her mind to not let him be out of sight for too long.

Anna ceased playing with the little rocks on the low garden wall she had taken to kneeling behind. A man had left the house and proceeded to strip of his clothes. How incredulous. Anna's brow raised and tilted her head in curiosity. The very skin of the man to quiver, twisting and bulging, sprouting fur and contorting until a large canine stood where the man once was. How magnificent! The awe was clear in her eyes as she watched the now canine lop off. Anna popped out from her hiding place, ensuring the canine was gone, before making her way to that back door he had came from.

Honestly she had been hoping to see Sebastian coming out but this would do. By now Anna was familiar with this part of Sebastian's house. The kitchen and other entertaining areas downstairs had been part of her previous visits. Anna slowly made her way to the pantry where she remembered the last lady producing tea cookies and rummaged until she found her goal. Cookie in hand, Anna started to make her way out of the kitchen until a little yip and jingle of tags came scrambling up to her. Anna stopped in her tracks to crouch down with her knees to her chest, eyeing the little dog curiously. The dog mirrored her actions, sitting down and tilting its head this way and that as the pair studied each other. "You want a cookie?" Anna easily extended one of the powdered tea cookies to the pup. "...Are you something else?" She was truly curious on this canine was like the man who she had witnessed shifting outside.
