Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Oh, how he adored that warm simper that tugged so fiercely at the corner of Henry's lips, the man beaming with a hint of happiness that Sterling hadn't seen in far too long. Sterling certainly had no protest as Henry's hands settled upon his waist, pulling him closer until Sterling's hips were pressed so firmly against Henry's own. How that very proximity so brought about the desires that had long gone unfulfilled! He was, admittedly, entirely unprepared for the heated kiss that he was given as Henry's lips pressed so frantically against his own. That attempt to provide him affection was near desperate, the fierceness of it caught Sterling off guard and yet, he hardly complained in the slightest all the same, his mouth all too eagerly returning that kiss. Moments later, when that press of adoration so finally broken, he could hardly help the almost smug grin that settled upon his features at that breathlessness that seemed to afflict Henry. How long had it been since Henry had loved him quite like this? Surely not since their move from New York?
That sudden lift of his figure saw the boy react in a near-instinctual fashion. His legs wrapped around Henry's hips, his arms settled against the man's neck as he leaned forward to place a far softer kiss upon Henry's lips. Sterling was entirely inattentive to exactly where they were going - their movie night was all but forgotten in the simple heat of the moment. He was aware, vaguely, of his back pressing against a hard surface - the door to his own bedroom giving way but moments later as those small orbs of light followed them into Sterling's bedroom. The blue-eyed boy was pressed against his own comforter as those lights spread around the room and yet, his eyes were for but Henry alone as his boyfriend leaned over him. The boy returned that all too fleeting kiss before Henry's lips moved up his jawline, only to tease the lobe of Sterling's ear in a fashion that made him shift with a soft chuckle.
Henry's attention hardly lingered long before his boyfriend's mouth moved down the slope of his neck, only to tug at the very hem of his shirt. Sterling lifted his figure upwards ever so slightly, just enough to aid in the remove of the clothing. The soft whisper within his ear, however, prompted an almost inquisitive look to his features. "What is it?" He inquired in that same, soft muttered tone, unwilling to break that intimate moment between them and yet, almost anxious at what it was that Henry wished to show him.
