Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we built this city on broken glass

Frosts own violet gaze continued to linger upon the offending, insufferable woman as she passed by them once more. The WereHorse so hardly inclined to find himself the most....social of beings at the best of times. Events such as this a decided strain upon him and yet he so hardly intended to deny Nadya or the children that chance to merely celebrate a birthday in any fashion they might desire. Even if it so required him to fend off those single mothers whom had deemed him a suitable target for their misplaced affections. Nadya's ready insistence the woman had already spent a large portion off her money on celebrating her divorce only prompted that further frown to Frost's own features. One alleviated only by that mention of cake. A part of the War Horse not uninclined to admit he rather looked forward to that treat- designed for children or not. If that Llama had taken it upon itself to destroy his lawn and his grass then he was assured he was entitled to remuneration in the form of that cake he was assured he had paid for all the same. It was those cries of delight from Isabella that prompted his soft admittance over the gift he had gotten the children. Micah, readily seizing upon those words all the same as Nadya glanced towards him with that demand of where they were going to keep a pony as Scarlett made her way towards them. Frost affording his WereWolf that nod of greeting.

"In the stables in the Park. I've already taken care of it. A friend from work bought it last week. I'll take them out to see it tomorrow. They are more then old enough to learn. No children of mine are going to be incapable of riding a horse. Besides, Scarlett agrees with me."

That fleeting touch of a simper so found the stallions lips then. His packmate rallied to his cause agianst his mate. At least until Scarlett declared her preference for a Llama. Frost wholly content to allow his violet gaze to eye that creature once more. Scarlett, somehow, having managed to befriend the animal despite its tendency to spit. Nadya quick to dismiss any idea off such an animal.

"It is eating my lawn."

That near blunt statement, perhaps, so afforded that small gathering of Frost's opinion on the creature entirely. Scarlett's very suggestion of those names, in the least, earning that vague twitch off his lips. The stallions decided enjoyment of puns known to Tetradore alone. That very quirk one he saw little need to reveal the full extent off in that moment. Scarlett crouched down to talk to the children then, Nadya seeming entirely at ease with the other woman engaging with her children, his girlfriend drawing his own attention to Malia then. The young WereCoyote having spent the better part of that party within her room and yet Frost had been nothing short of content to leave her to her own space. His desires to retreat to his own room perhaps equally as potent and yet he was not unwilling to at least attempt to pilfer some food for the woman before the children and parents consumed it all.

"Food is not her immediate concern. I can hear her thoughts from here. I will see to her in a moment."

Frost moved to ease himself away from that small group then, leaving Nadya and Scarlett with the children to make his way back through that party and toward the back door that Malia had just begun to step out off. Frost easily gesturing the woman to his side then. His voice uttered softly enough for her alone to hear then.

"Which one is the man who will not cease talking to you?"

Malia knew well off his affinity for those inner thoughts, Frost offering little explanation for his own question as he continued to peruse the crowd at large. His attention still upon the far table he had been forced to relinquish due to his own over talkative encounter with that woman. The stallion inclined to nod towards that offending being in that moment.

"That is the one who will not cease talking to me. Come, I am very good at repelling other men. Perhaps your presence will keep her from me in turn. I wish to return that far table to my possession- you can assist in my re-taking off it."

Perhaps that backyard table war was not the glorious battles for turf and territory he was more akin to fighting and yet it was a war he intended to win all the same.
