Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was, perhaps, peculiar that Serafina had chosen to meet her companion within the Northern neighborhood rather than her own townhome and yet, to witness the hour-long transformation from her usual wardrobe to something more fit for a tea with royalty somehow diminished the awe of it. How she adored that lustful glimpse within the depths of Brennan's irises as his gaze finally fell upon her slender figure, roving along the curve of her hips. A mischievous simper crossed the kitten's features as she handed her warlock the box within her hands. "Why thank you." She cooed in a melodic tone. Her stormy gaze turned to eye the facade of the building before them, those tall walls and stationed guards certainly spoke of someone of importance. Perhaps Brennan's companion wasn't lying of his station. Her blue-grey irises briefly turned towards her companion as Brennan complained of the tie fastened around his neck. Her ruby lips curved upwards in a simper. "Thank you Brennan, you look almost royalty....almost." She commented coyly, providing the man a mischievous wink. Her hand reached out to lightly tap at the top of the box she'd given him as Serafina informed him of the very gift she had crafted just for Brennan's....dog....thing, even if the very mention of the creature ruined that small smile. "Maybe one day." She muttered begrudgingly, turning her gaze back towards the lush gardens she could glimpse just beyond the gate in front of her.

Her gaze shifted only as Brennan suddenly offered her a flower, the very sight of it saw her eyebrows raise ever so slightly. The color alone matched her general appearance so...perfectly. She'd forgotten just how well Brennan knew her. "Oh....thank you." She muttered softly as she took the flower from his fingers, fastening it to the clip in her hair as the warlock opened the gift she had provided. Really, she was almost surprised he didn't ask to its purpose and yet, for now, she was willing to let it be a surprise. "You're welcome." She muttered, only to eye the guards they so seemed to be staring at them in turn. Her fingers took Brennan's offered arm as those gates slowly slid open between them, the young woman all but gliding up that pathway and yet, although the splendor hardly went unnoticed, it was something else that drew the young witch's attention entirely. After all...it was winter and yet, the estate hardly even held a touch of that season to it. That was...atypical. Her eyebrow rose though she said little of it, for now, merely offering Brennan a soft sound in a way of response. She was silent as the front door slid smoothly open, the man before them hardly what Serafina anticipated of King and yet, the name Brennan used only confirmed that he was not. A servant? How...convenient. Slowly, Serafina shrugged off her shaw, allowing Charles to take it from her only to reveal the true depths of that plunging neckline.

The pair hardly had to wait at all, however, before they were joined by yet another - the very King of Italy himself. The magazine covers she'd seen certainly didn't do the man justice. He was strikingly handsome, different, though, then the roguish roughness of her pirate or the stoic disgruntlement of her Dark Hunter. Oh no, he was soft and refined, exactly as one imagined royalty to be, she supposed. She watched as the two men greeted one another, the girl almost deceptively playing that very role anticipated of a woman, even if her thoughts were near tumbling with inquisitiveness and impishness. It was only once Brennan introduced her by name that Dorian's gaze seemed to shift towards her, only for those silver eyes to widen at the very sight of her creamy skin. "Hello." She uttered, that pleased simper on her ruby lips as she held out her hand. Oh, how she enjoyed that flush of color to his cheeks! It had been some time since she had made a man blush. She could feel the weight of Brennan's gaze too lingering upon her, the woman more than content to be on display for both of them. Serafina watched with a glimpse of amusement as Dorian's gaze so abruptly turned away from her, his hand taking her own only for his lips to brush with tender sweetness on the back of her hand. Oh, she liked him. He was going to be fun.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Dorian." She uttered softly, as the Monarch so quickly moved on to the topic of his husband. Hm....a shame. She trailed after Dorian as he led the way towards that secondary room, this room equally as lavish as the entryway and yet, it was the spread of fine china and sweets that drew the weight of her stormy eyes. This was unlike anything Serafina had ever experienced...she could get used to this. "Oh hush, Brennan." The young woman responded at her warlock's efforts to insist that the spread before them was hardly necessary. She allowed Charles to hold out the chair for Serafina, the young woman smoothing her dress out as she settled in the seat, allowing the man to push her slightly beneath the table before Charles' attention turned towards Brennan. The warlock was all too quick to dismiss the man as he settled in his own seat, only for Dorian to offer them the very plethora of cakes before them. Even Serafina could not deny they looked....delectable. Were those...gold flakes? She'd never seen anything quite like that before. "Thank you." She uttered as Serafina reached out to pluck one of those cupcakes with her fork, placing it upon her small plate though she made no effort to bite into it yet. Rather, the woman was unsurprised as Dorian chastised Brennan for reaching with his hands for that same cupcake, prompting a small simper on her lips.

It was that baffled inquiry on what the difference between this fork and the other one, however, that caused Serafina to interrupt. "The left side of the fork is wider, Brennan, to provide leverage for cutting cakes without needing a knife." She watched the glare that Brennan set that cake with, only for Serafina to shake her head ever so slightly at him, her own attention swiftly shifting at Dorian's unanticipated inquiry. Brennan hardly seemed certain of his answer, his gaze turning towards Serafina only for the young woman to simply nod in agreement. "A very long time ago." How many years had it been? Far more than she cared to consider, frankly, unfortunately, before the young witch could even continue the conversation, it was the weight of another's gaze upon her that drew her attention. Her eyebrows rose at the very glimpse of the vampire's appreciative stare, that look alone well telling the woman of the thoughts that surely lingered upon his mind, not that she was terribly cross. So this must be the husband. What a delightfully delicious duo. Those two singular words from the vampire's lips as he joined them, however, seemed to prompt recognition from the 'pirate' at her side. Really, it was amusing how often that he was mistaken for a corsair and yet, it suited Brennan.

As it was, Serafina's attention hardly lingered long upon the vampire, the young woman far more inclined to see if she could bring that crimson flush to the Italian Monarch's cheeks all over again. What a riveting game he could prove to be! "Dorian." She uttered, her voice deceptively sweet when she so made the effort to charm the opposite sex. "I couldn't help but notice your gardens are...exceptional given the time of year." Her foot shifted under the table, brushing coyly against Dorian's leg, inquisitive to see how the Monarch might react to such a touch. "It's very unusual...have you a gift for plants?"
