Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Navi had been rather elusive within the confines of Somnia. She was like a ghost that either wandered the rustic city or she stayed within the realm of her room that Andras provided her within the lodge. He needed to see her, well, wanted to see how she had been adjusting. The High Lord hadn't had much time to speak with the faerie girl. He had been far too preoccupied with other things... or to put it simply, he had been absent from Somnia because Lani was here. She didn't want to see him and he had no one else to blame but himself. At some point, Ida had moved Lani out of the lodge, at her request, and she had moved into that cabin he had so provided her. She seemed to want to be very far away from Andras, not that he could blame her, the man had gone so far as to stay within Sacrosanct to dull that temptation to seek her out. She wasn't ready, he would respect, even if it killed him to be separated for her. It didn't stop him from getting updates on her, Ida frequently returning to the townhouse to let him know how she was doing.

The last visit had Ida practically screeching at the sight of the townhouse in the city, he had thoroughly... destroyed it in a rage as he tried to kill Matteo. Though, the two had ended on good terms, he had yet to start renovations on the interior. It was a miracle the house was still standing. He can practically feel the lashing of her words, her scolding, even as he used the portal to enter the snowy lands of Somnia, he was still rubbing his neck. Ida could put his mother to shame with the tongue lashing she had given him last night, it was a miracle she didn't throw something at him. It had been centuries since he had such a magical temper tantrum and he hoped he wouldn't have one again for another few centuries. Dropping his hand to his side, he moves through the snow packed path, the lodge in the distant. Dropping his nose into the scarf that Lani had made, he breathes in her faint scent, his heart stirring at it. Still, he doesn't give himself the option to turn and make his way to that cabin deep in the woods. Instead, he arrives on the lodge's porch, knocks his shoes against the door to rid the snow and lets himself in.

Sighing at the heat that so wraps around him, Andras slips the scarf from his neck and slides his arms out of his jacket, hanging them up. His usual finery is worn, slacks and a jacket, the man seemingly always prepared for a meeting, as he runs a hand through his shaggy hair. Making his way into the seating room, he catches the faintest scent of Lani, his entire body freezing, though it takes him a moment to realize it was stale and utter dejection falls across his face. Not that she would be happy to see him, Andras would be highly relieved to see her. Pushing it away, he moves to the bottom of the stairs and tilts his head back as he looks up, "Navi!" He shouts up the stairwell, his booming voice reaching even the farthest corners of the lodge. "Would you come down for a moment?" He calls again, flaring his nostrils and catching a fresh scent of the petite faerie. The girl was her own person and he never knew what she was thinking, the man keeping his on telepathic abilities locked away unless he needed them. Still, Andras does reach out with his mind, searching for another living creature within the lodge. It doesn't take long to find Navi, his mind immediately withdrawing so as to not invade her privacy.

Whether the girl would answer his call remained to be seen, Andras hardly forcing Navi to do anything she didn't want. He was quite certain she would tear off a limb of his if he as so much as demanded something from her. Still, he knew she was somewhere above him, the man retreating to the sectional as he sits down after pouring himself a glass of whiskey from the decanter next to the fireplace.
