Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was, perhaps, naive of the timid vampire to so eagerly accept that Were-bear she had met as her friend. After all, the pair had not quite been keen to discuss...well, anything, really. The large creature all but ripping through her home until he had returned, the next day with a great amount of apologizing and the determination to fix all the damage he had caused to Isolt's poor little townhome. The very memory of the destruction he had caused, however, caused her own gaze to shift to the floor and yet, she supposed if Damon hadn't noticed those subtle changes to some of the floorboards or the new coffee table, then perhaps Isolt too might forgive her for being so...disrespectful with the woman's home. It was with a glimpse of hesitance that her chocolate eyes rose to watch the very corner of Damon's lips shift to a small simper, fleeting though it was before he inquired after her own feeding habits. How she had loathed leaving the sanctuary of her home! It was only out of necessity now, that she left those four walls - that pressing need for emotions certainly one of them. Her last meal, however, had been little more than a tasting, something to bring back a slight flush of color to her cheeks and a temporary warmth to her soul. It was hardly the very life she needed and as a result, Chizue still found herself entirely drained, even if she had no interest in venturing out yet again.

It was that very question she almost dreaded as it fell from Damon's lips. How she wished he almost had forgotten her feeding tendencies! Softly, the young girl sighed as her fingers reached towards the hem of her shirt, fiddling with it in her nervousness. "A little." The young woman admitted, all but downplaying the simple lifelessness that so potently clung to her as a result of her near starvation. Hesitantly, the girl nibbled on her lip as Damon offered to go somewhere - somewhere....quiet. A glimpse of indecision crossed the young woman's features before, slowly, her head bobbed ever so slightly, if only for the simple fact that she knew well she certainly should. It wasn't like she was going to get another opportunity, after all, to go hunting with someone who so uniquely understood her. "I...I guess we can go." She muttered, only to add in a voice near small and hopeful. "Perhaps we can find someone...nice tonight?" She wasn't ready for the boisterous enthusiasm she'd once fed off of when she was with Damon last, or the seductive determination she'd eaten with Malek. All Chizue wanted was to find something calm in the veritable sea of anxiety that had become her own mind. Maybe then, the world might not seem so much as an awful, scary place.
