if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
A high pitched squeal left Abigail's lips as the panda went tumbling into the darkness, her smaller form near rocketing down that cold metal of the slide only to send her form flying at the end to a less than graceful tumble into the gravel. Abigail hardly seemed terribly perturbed by her fall, however, the panda's head perking up but mere seconds afterward as her little ears twitched in delight. Her tail flopped behind her as Abigail lept to her feet just in time for Anna-Marie to hurry towards the swings. Her head tilted at that beckoning and yet, Abby certainly wasn't one to shy away from an adventure, even despite her hesitance at her ability to hold on. Abigail waddled after the vampiric child as she settled upon those swings. That gentle pat upon the girl's lap caused Abigail's butt to wiggle in anticipation of that very jump and yet....the little panda was nothing if not terribly ungainly. Her leap caused her to all but collide into Anna-Maries knees, her claws digging into flesh in some effort to gain leverage and yet, that soft hiss saw her eyes widen as the panda immediately ceased her efforts. Already she could feel herself falling the short distance back onto the ground, only for the child to yank her up and into her lap.
The last thing Abigail anticipated with the very ease at which the girl brushed off the incident, the child instead far more focused upon balancing, pushing off, and holding onto the little panda all at once. It was decidedly...worrisome at first, the very movement of the ground beneath her caused Abigail to shift her weight slightly from foot to foot in some dreadful anticipation of the pair meeting the ground and yet, Anna-Marie seemed quick to figure out just the manner to push in just the right way to gain that clearly desired altitude. They quickly gained height, Abigail soon becoming worried about the slack in the chain and the way her heart fluttered at each momentary fall before those chains grew taunt all over again. That sudden inquiry on whether or not she was ready however, caused the panda to look up quizzically at the young vampire, altogether unsure of what she should even get ready for! The last thing she expected, as they swang forward again, was for Anna-Marie to jump into the air. An audible squeal left Abigail's lips as they fell freely downwards and yet those moments of falling were drastically short before the child landed ever so neatly, still clutching the quickly breathing panda. That ready laughter as the girl rolled into the sand, however, seemed to break the spellbound animal, prompting a delighted bark from the girl. She hardly expected that press of her body so tightly against Anna-Marie's own as the girl declared her as her 'best friend'. The very tightness of the hug caused a wheezing breath of protest to leave her lips and yet....a part of Abigail thought it was rather...sweet the poor, lonely child had declared what she thought was a mere animal her closest companion. Tentatively, Abigail offered a squeak of agreement, her little nose reaching up to brush her tongue across Anna-Marie's cheek in a small kiss of vague affection.
